Woman Crush Wednesday: Ginnifer Goodwin

1) She's the perfect Snow White- I mean really! They could not have gotten a better Snow White! She looks like Snow, she seems very snow-ish and she's just like a real life princess. I think whoever did the casting for Once Upon A Time should be awarded or something. It is a hard thing to pull off recreating an iconic character, but I think Ginnifer Goodwin does a fantastic job of doing so.

2) She's been good in a lot of bad movies- Before Once upon a time, I was a fan of Ginnifer Goodwin... but there were no movies with her in it that I really liked. I didn't like Something Borrowed, I liked He's Just Not That Into You... but without Ginnifer it would have been bad. I think she was still really entertaining and fun to watch in these movies no matter how bad they are. She does a great job and she really does make a movie worth seeing, even if it isn't the best movie in the world.

3) I love her scenes with Charming on Once- This is a stupid and girlish thing to say... but it has to be said. I love that she ended up finding her soulmate from being Snow White. And that soulmate is Josh Dallas aka Prince Charming. It's just so sweet. I actually get a little emotional when they do scenes together because I think they're just so great together in real life that it really shows on Once.

4) She plays a complicated role really well- I'm always impressed by the acting on Once. I mean everyone essentially has to play two characters, so that in itself is already incredibly complicated. Another complication in her role as Snow White? She has to play a mother to someone that is the exact same age as her that she is still trying to find a connection with. It's a tough role to play and I think Ginnifer does a fantastic job of being motherly to Emma but also with a bit of a disconnection. It's just kind of a powerful thing to see such a strong mother-daughter bond and it was just so sweet.

5) She's just so cute- Overall I think she has a cute personality that makes you want to watch her in things and want to be friends with her. She's sort of the ultimate girl next door and that makes me really happy that she's so successful and everything has worked out nicely for her. Plus Jennifer Morrison says that she really loves Disney and now that she's on Once she gets to go for free and she'll take her kids soon and its just soo soo nice and cute and it makes me really happy.

So there you have it! A real life girl next door turned Disney Princess.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
