Thoughts of today.

I couldn't think of anything to post today... but I had some entertaining thoughts and moments throughout the day... so let's do that!

-I thought that Maroon 5's song "Animals" said "I'm gonna finger you tonight." Which is gross, but also why aren't there any songs about just hand stuff? There should be more songs for that!

-It's also funny that apple underlines the word "tonight" even when you aren't making plans. I think it would be funny if someone texted someone that and it just made an event for fingering happening sometime tonight. Lol.

- Why do people laugh so much in songs? Like with girl singers a lot of times they won't sing or say anything and there will just be a laugh or even a "Ha Ha" like in every song from the band The Sounds. Can we stop that. It's not like anything hilarious has been said. If you're doing it just cause the song is about having a good time, just say its about having a friggin good time. You're Taylor Swift, we already think you're young, carefree and adorable. Adding a laugh to your song isn't going to change that!

-I'm SUPER PUMPED for Gone Girl and I think Ben Affleck will be great in it. And he'll probably be a good Batman too... but its still way too soon. I'm tired of seeing all the same superheroes in the same movies... it's getting kinda boring.

- There are lots of characters on ABC shows with the same name and it's getting confusing. There is going to be a Lila on Forever next week but Lila is the dead girl on How To Get Away With Murder. These are both new shows, how am I supposed to keep up with that? Also the main character in Forever? Named Henry, same as the little boy on Once Upon a Time!

That's about everything I thought today... not really but you get the point.

Byeee!
-Shannon

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
