Man Crush Monday: Evan Peters

Since its Halloween week, I thought I would talk about the person all AHS fans are weirdly attracted to this MCM... EVAN PETERS!

1) He can play the good guy and the bad guy- One of the reasons I think its weird to be so attracted to him is that he can be both good and bad. In season 1 of AHS he was the bad guy that everyone kind of fell in love with because he was so good to Violet. But ultimately he was a very bad guy that did something very very bad (I don't really want to give spoilers... but if you haven't seen season 1 at least you probably have no interest in the series.) But then in season 2 he was really a good guy in a bad place. He was open minded and the aliens chose him for that reason. And in season 3 and from what it seems in season 4... hes not good or bad. He can really do good things.

2) I've never loved his storylines, but I think he does a great job- I like his characters... but I feel like he has very odd storylines that don't quite fit in with the rest of the season. I mean I liked him in Season 1... but a bunch of annoying girls on tumblr thought he was hot and wanted his character to be their boyfriends... and its like really? He killed people at his high school and he raped Connie Britton's character and they had a demon baby that killed an innocent maid... you really want him to be your boyfriend. As a character I really liked Kip, but the aliens thing was out of left field. I think that he did a great job and stuff... but aliens did not belong in the world of Asylum... which was weird. I thought he did a good job as Kyle on Coven... but his character didn't have much of an arc... well I guess he sort of did. I mean he was a regular guy, then he died and came back and then he was a monster but then he healed and was normalish... I guess that is a bit of an arc... but still I always want more of him cause he is actually a great actor.

I do like his character this season though! He's like the leader of the Freaks and I like Dot's crush on him.

3) He will make you attracted to some pretty unattractive characters- There is something about him. It's like impossible to not fall in love with his characters, even if they are completely unlikable. It goes back to #1. In the first season he was a pretty bad guy, there is no denying that... but there is still something about him that is just... he's hot. That is probably it, and I am trying to say it is so much more than that... but it boils down to he is damn hot. Also talented, but lets get back to the hot thing. He is hot.

4) I have a lot of respect for regulars of AHS in general- It must not be the easiest job in the world to be a regular in a mini series that does one season every year. Every season all the characters are a little different and have different ways of interacting with other actors. Evan has been in all four seasons. His interactions with other AHS regulars is different each year too. One year he's Jessica Lange's son, next he's hating her because she traps him in an asylum. One year he is just a friend of Sarah Paulson a few seasons later he's her love interest. Its just an interesting thing to see. It's cool to watch all these actors playing such different characters and I think since he has been in all four seasons, it particularly shows.

5) The Hot Thing Again- I'm sorry. It's my "Ryan Gosling is so talented" thing all over again. He's hot and that may blind me to whether or not he is actually talented, but from every season of AHS he is actually talented. It takes a lot to make these characters likable and relatable... but he did just that and it was amazing.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
