Throwback Thursday: Lady Gaga Artpop Review

So this I was actually pleasantly surprised to listen to again. Artpop was my least favorite Lady Gaga cd… and honestly… idk if I can say that anymore. I liked it way more than I thought I would. I think I’ve only listened to it all the way through once before this… and I understand why… but at the same time- I’d like listening to these with all the other Gaga songs on Shuffle or something.   There’s only one song on this that I really don’t like. Jewels and Drugs is just not my thing… I didn’t really like the rap in it… I didn’t feel like there was enough Gaga on it. I also am not a fan of R.Kelly as a person… he’s a very talented singer and entertainer… I actually watched all of Trapped in The Closet… but I know he’s had some pretty bad scandals in the past… and I just can’t really support him as a person. I heard him at a club recently and I was like “I feel funny dancing to this because I don’t like R Kelly…” I’m not a club person.   Anyway other than that I reall...

The Lady Gaga Concert Experience!

Soooo... just got back from my Gaga concert Extravaganza weekend and I have a lot of thoughts and feelings... I also have a massive headache... which is slowly going away... but I just want to write. I'll probably post other things from the trip and something about Taylor Swift's new video because I'm a little shook from it... and I don't really like the song... but I've listened to most of Taylor's other albums in full at least once... so I feel like I'm a bit of a fan. Anyway back to Lady Gaga... She didn't have an opening act- she started about a half hour late- these were the first things my dad and sister asked me... so the tickets were for 9:30 and she went on at 10. There was a DJ before her. We went to Citi Field... and they had Cookie Dough and tons of food that all smelled really good. They actually have a Shake Shack in the stadium there- we ate before... there's a lot that you can do at Citi Field... I may have had a cookie dough scoop....

Review Time- Artpop by Lady Gaga

I was super SUPER excited for this cd. I love Lady Gaga, usually she is someone I would go out and buy the physical cd the very day it comes out, but I was kind of broke when it originally came out, so I held off till Christmas and put it on my list... I finally got a chance to listen to it once... so here is my first impression. Well okay, first first impression- Applause has been my favorite single that Gaga has ever released I think... I mean maybe I like Just Dance and Pokerface and Bad Romance more, but I really think Applause is my absolute favorite. It makes me happy whenever I hear it. It's very different from her other songs, but not so different that it's like "what the hell happened to Lady Gaga." I just felt it was really great and actually quite powerful and I couldn't wait to hear all of the other songs on the cd. That being said... I don't think there was any song I liked more. Which is sad because the singles I usually love, but when I hear...

Woman Crush Wednesday- Lady Gaga

I love Lady Gaga. I have always been a fan. From the very first time I saw the video for Just Dance when I was in Germany and it was totally awesome and funny and amazing. And I love everything she does. Even the few times I'm not totally crazy about a song, its still better than most other songs. She's just really talented. And there are very few singers that are actually amazing artists as well. I really think a lot of her performances and videos are a beautiful and better than some things that they put in museums even. I know that seems like a shallow sort of comment that a teenage girl would write, but I really think that she is a visionary and I just truly admire everything that she has done. I would absolutely love to see her live! I feel like I would get super emotional and cry probably, and I'm not usually one to do something like that.  I also love her attitude. She doesn't really care about her haters or what the media has to say about her. You know wh...
