Woman Crush Wednesday- Lady Gaga

I love Lady Gaga. I have always been a fan. From the very first time I saw the video for Just Dance when I was in Germany and it was totally awesome and funny and amazing. And I love everything she does. Even the few times I'm not totally crazy about a song, its still better than most other songs. She's just really talented.

And there are very few singers that are actually amazing artists as well. I really think a lot of her performances and videos are a beautiful and better than some things that they put in museums even. I know that seems like a shallow sort of comment that a teenage girl would write, but I really think that she is a visionary and I just truly admire everything that she has done. I would absolutely love to see her live! I feel like I would get super emotional and cry probably, and I'm not usually one to do something like that.

I also love her attitude. She doesn't really care about her haters or what the media has to say about her. You know who she cares about more than anyone? Her fans. She is honestly the best person to be a fan of because I feel like she has such a strong connection with her fans. She loves that people dress up like her and kind of go all out at her concerts and stuff. And she is just really supportive of her fans. She writes songs for her fans. Like I don't think she wrote songs like "Born This Way" just for herself, she wrote it because she has fans that are struggling with figuring themselves out. And the song is so empowering and moving (and that isn't even her best song!)

I haven't listened to Artpop yet, but it's on my Christmas list and I'm really excited to buy it. She's usually an artist that I will rush out to buy her album the very day it comes out, but I'm trying not to buy much stuff because I have a shopping problem and need money to buy other things. Lol. Applause is probably my favorite single of hers so far. It's just so catchy and as much as they play it on the radio right now, I don't get tired of listening to it. I'm just really excited. Total Gaga fangirl.

Anddd I love that she's influenced by my favorite FAVORITE singer and probably person of all time Mr. David Bowie. I started liking them both around the same time and she's my favorite female artist and he's my favorite male artist and yeah. It's just great.

So those are my thoughts on Lady Gaga. I could probably go on and on about her because I think she is AMAZING... but I won't. Did you guys buy or listen to Artpop yet? Let me know what you think somewhere... somehow. Hopefully in comments if comments are allowed here. Idk how this blog works still.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
