Sugar Cookie Egg Nog = Nectar From The Gods

If you have never had Hood Sugar Cookie Egg Nog... stop reading this right now, go online and find where the nearest grocery store is that has it, and buy it right this second. It is seriously the best thing in the entire world! Okay that might be an exaggeration... let me try some and see. I'll be right back...

No, it is not! Obviously, this is only sold around Christmas time because Egg Nog is seasonal and whatnot, but this is one of those things that I think of during the summer and stuff like that and I will want it right then and there. Hood has a lot of other good Egg Nog flavors too, they have Gingerbread Cookie which is really good, Pumpkin which is okay, and their regular egg nog is good (its what Starbucks uses I believe). The Sugar Cookie one is my personal favorite. If you don't like Egg Nog, this actually tastes quite different than Egg Nog. It's a lot more like a milk shake with a cookie like taste, so I would give it a taste if you aren't a fan of nog.

For some reason one of my favorite things to do around the holidays is sit around the tree and drink Egg Nog when some really good show is on on a Sunday Night. I think its specifically Sunday because I like to have some sort of snack while watching Desperate Housewives and I remembered they mentioned Egg Nog one time, and then it sort of became my own personal tradition whenever we had Egg Nog in the house. I don't know, lol I just think Sunday is the best egg nog day.

Also I realized that sometimes in this post, I capitalized Egg Nog and Sugar Cookie and Gingerbread Cookie when I didn't really need too... but I tend to do that sometimes. I will put random caps in at random places, which I like because Emily Dickens did that also and I always thought that was cool. Not like I'm a super big fan of Emily Dickens, she kinda depresses me, but still. The random caps always looked cool to me.

Anyhoo thats about it. What are your favorite holiday drinks/traditions?For any holiday, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, Festivus, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, anything at all! Let me know in the place where you can talk to me (my long name for the comment section)

Byeeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
