Blogmas Day 14: Watching One Of My Favorite Christmas Movies With My Niece

So I've talked about my niece before... she's a toddler- she's almost 2 and she's super playful and the cutest! I thought it might be fun to try to watch one of my favorite Christmas Movies- A Muppet Christmas Carol- with her and see how she likes it... this is what happened. I wasn't really expecting her to pay much attention to it... but I thought maybe she'd laugh and maybe she would like the Muppets because she likes Sesame Street so much... and I think she did a little bit but she mostly just played a little bit and when she got tired she laid down to watch and then she fell asleep... just like what I do! But when she was asleep it was at my favorite part- Marley and Marley! With my favorite muppets- Statler and Waldorf...So that was a fun part for me to kind of sit down and watch with my dad. He thinks its funny too... and then we watched Fozziwig's Old Rubber Chicken Factory- which my dad also laughed at... which was funny. And I had to get read...

Woman Crush Wednesday: Miss Piggy

When I grow up I want to be like Miss Piggy.  1) She's all about her fans- I can't believe Kermit broke up with her just because she was signing autographs with her fans! So selfish! Piggy really values her fans and followers and doesn't mind missing Pitch Perfect 2 in order to take a few pictures and sign a few autographs and I think that is inspiring.  2) She's totally professional with her ex- She really does not let her relationship with Kermit get in the way of her career! If anything, its made her stronger and more successful! Up Late With Miss Piggy gets all the best guests and she's the only female late night talk show host... even if it is just the plot of a fictional tv show... it makes sense!  3) She doesn't let men take credit for her success- She didn't let Josh Groban take credit for Up Late With Miss Piggy! She put him in his place and said "Heyyy, this is my show I do it my way and you're name isn't on it!" And ba...

Weekly Wrap Up: 9/27/2015

Favorites  Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice K Cups- I know everyone is on a massive Pumpkin Spice K Cup Hunt right now and... yeah. Its hard to find one that is good and tastes pumpkiny, but also still tastes like coffee and is actually good. Out of the two I've tried, this is the one I like. Lol. I didn't really like the Stop and Shop brand K Cup... those tasted kind of like a candle and had a little too much spice. This actually tastes good. Like something you would get at Starbucks or something. Its yummy and just tastes really nice. I like it a lot. The Muppets- I really liked the premier of this show. I think it's going to be so good. It was really funny and its not just like a kids show. When they say "its not your grandma's muppets"... I mean it is and thats good and stuff... but I don't know. I was expecting it to be like a kid's 30 Rock... but I think its more of a kids Bojack Horseman... which isn't a kids show at all really. lol. I liked...

Scribbles About TV: The Muppets Review

This was the show I was most excited about... but also the one I was most scared of. I love The Muppets and I've been following all the press for this of corse... who hasn't been right? But I was worried because I knew it wasn't really going to be the muppets I grew up with... and it wasn't... but thats okay. It's not exactly a kids show, not exactly an adult's show. You could watch it with kids I think... it isn't like there are any racey jokes or anything... but this is what I've heard online and it is true... the emotions of the characters make it an adult show. There's a lot of sad themes that kids won't exactly be able to relate to like Kermit's breakup with Miss Piggy and Fozzie being scared his girlfriend's parents won't like him. Its emotions kids won't understand but its relatable for grown ups because its the muppets. Its not unlike Bojack Horseman actually... but not quite as sad and it is kid friendly... but somethin...

Scribbles About TV: ABC Primetime Fall Schedule 2015

So right now I'm going to just review what I think of all the new shows coming this year for tv look like. I'm going to break it down by channels and then what night has on each night and time and yeah. I'm just going off of Eastern time because thats my time zone. Its the same on the west coast and its an hour earlier for central... which you probably know... but whatever. Lol. I just don't want to put 7/6c cause I don't want to. Lol.  And it took me a while to do ABC's so I'm going to post separate posts on all of them... yeah. This will be fall schedule week. ABC Is today, tomorrow will be CBS then NBC then Fox and I'll wrap it up with The CW. If you'd like to view shows that aren't listed yet or see trailers, check it out right  here ABC  Sunday 7pm- America's Funniest Home Videos- Nice to see this is still on... although it is slightly irrelevant thanks to youtube. I still watch it from time to time because nothing is on on sunday...

Things I'm Excited For: Fall!

So it is September 2nd which means... its still summer. Lol. But its also almost fall... and I think I did this for summer so I'm going to do it for fall. I don't know if there's a ton of movies or anything (I lied there are quite a few) I'm excited for... but in general... I have some excitement for Fall... so lets get into that. 1) American Horror Story: Hotel- This is the most excited I've been for American Horror Story. It sounds creepier than Freakshow... which was pretty creepy. I'm really excited for the additions to the cast like Max Greenfield, Matt Bomber is back, Lady Gaga! I love Jessica Lange I think she's coming back... but I'm not sure. Either way I think the cast sounds absolutely amazing. One of the murderers is based on the woman that Charlize Theron played in Monster... it just all sounds cool. I got the Entertainment Weekly with Gaga in character on the cover and it is awesome. So looking forward to it. Which means it will probably ...
