The Daily Something

My second review for my Gaga Weekend… which wasn’t really a weekend- but it was the same amount of time as a weekend… so we can call it a weekend lol.   As much as we liked the food at the hotel, we thought we would venture out a little and ask the Concierge for a place to get lunch. He recommended this place and Junior’s. I’ve been to Junior’s before Once for Brunch and once for dinner… I think I liked the dinner… didn’t love the breakfast and we were kind of looking for breakfast food… which isn’t what we got at Azalea because they don’t have a breakfast menu… so that’s okay.   Azalea has a great location- right next to the Girshwin theater… which if you didn’t know is where Wicked is playing! So if you have Wicked tickets, this is a good option for dining. When I saw Wicked, I went with my 8th grade class and we ate at Mars 2112… which is fun- but it’s not really something you want to go to as a grown up…lol. The food was okay there… the experience was fun… but it’...

So this is something I think I'm going to do from time to time because it's something I've gained interest in again. Obviously, I've been loving musicals and I love that there is the option of watching funny musicals based on things I have an interest in for the most part right on youtube! Not on Youtube Red Even... which I hope they continue.  This is one I've wanted to see for a while... but for some reason just haven't. It's sort of like Wicked... but with the characters from Aladdin. It's Jafar's real story in Aladdin and why he is a good guy, but the story just got told wrong. And it all kind of adds up. I thought that it would be a little like something that wouldn't really add up... but I've seen Aladdin several times, and pretty recently... and it all makes sense and fits in with the story of Aladdin and other Arabian mythology that Aladdin was based off of. I thought it was just very well done.  And it's very funny... but ...

I know this is a little bit of an older movie and it will probably be out of theaters soon, but it is still showing quite a bit and I kind of wanted to see it and my mom and I wanted to see a movie... so we saw this. I wasn't really expecting to like it quite as much as I did, I have been super picky about movies lately and this got such bad reviews, but I really really loved it! Now it wasn't what I expected the movie to be at all. My sister loves Maleficent and she was really excited about this movie and she was a little disappointed that Maleficent wasn't the same as she was in Sleeping Beauty. She wasn't nearly as wicked... she wasn't really wicked at all, just kind of misunderstood. Speaking of Wicked: I thought this story was going to be like Wicked where its a completely different view of the Wizard of Oz and it tells what happened with the Wicked Witch. Or I thought it would be like a super villain origin story where it tells how she became evil... which I...
