The Daily Something

So I couldn't think of what to write today... but this is something that is very telling of a person. The movies that if you see it on TV, you will watch it above everything else. They might not necessarily be my favorite movies... but they're ones I get really, really excited about. 1) My Big Fat Greek Wedding  This one is my favorite and this probably is in my Top 5 Favorite movies of All Time. It's just such a good movie, I've seen it so many times I actually know every word. This is the only movie that I know every word to... unless Hamilton becomes a movie lol. It's just sooo good and so funny. I love it. 2) Any of The Despicable Me Movies  These aren't on as much as they used to be... but Despicable Me is my favorite movie ever... I could watch it a million times and still never get tired. And I also love Minions and Despicable Me 2... in that order. Despicable Me is #1 then Minions and then DM2. DM3 looks really good too, I'm so excited for it.....

Alrighttt so I just saw Finding Dory and I liked it... but I don't think I loved it the way I love most Pixar movies. I loved the message that they were sending through the movie. Most of the characters had disabilities and they were stronger because of their disabilities and they were able to help each other out because of it. It was sweet and a great message to send to kids and adults. I'm happy they didn't change the characters at all either. Dory was the same, Marlin was the same. I'm super happy it wasn't a prequel... I thought that was kind of a miss when they did that with Monster's University. And all the new characters are funny and charming and well designed! I love when Pixar gets inventive with their character designs too. When they did Monster's Inc they had to invent new technology just for the tiny detail of Sully's hair moving when he was asleep. And that was really cool! I feel like Pixar hasn't been doing that as much lately... ...

So I used to do these a lot... and I haven't done one since the My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 trailer... but 2 important movies are coming up... so why not! Finding Dory  If you want to know what I'm talking about you can watch the trailer right  here . I love Finding Nemo. Its one of my favorite Pixar movies... and probably just one of my favorite movies. This is one of those movies that I can watch any time its on and just always enjoy. And this seems like the way to do a sequel for it. In the original, Dory mentions that she has a family... but she doesn't know where they are. She also talks in her sleep... and now she's started sleep-swimming and she remembers where she came from and she has to find her family. I like that this really plays off the original movie, but its about a character we know and love already and I think it will be a fun one to watch. Its a good follow up and I think the original movie is so loved and so good that it will seem like no tim...

So I was going to re-watch all Pixar movies and do a full ranking of every movie... but I don't even have all of them and I don't really have a DVD player right now... so this is kind of an unofficial ranking... but all the important ones are the same. I'm going to start from the bottom and then go up! Not because Up is #1... its close lol... but still. All of the movies are good, I didn't like Cars 2 and I didn't love Cars... so slight spoilers... theres a reason for all my rankings... lol. They're all good and I could watch them all... except Cars 2 which I never really finished... lol. 15) Cars 2- The only Pixar movie I didn't like... and the only Pixar movie that got bad reviews. I didn't watch the full thing... I don't think I can because I just don't get the whole Cars are spies deal and stuff like that... idk. Its a weird one. I felt like they were like "You know what will make a movie less annoying? More Larry The Cable Guy" ....
