Man Crush Monday: 5 guys I find Attractive

So as you know, I've been pinteresting things lately... and I found a few writing prompt things that I thought could be fun for some blogs! And one said 5 men whom you find attractive... so I'm going with that one. 1) Nick Jonas- My #1 celebrity crush right now is very randomly Nick Jonas. I thought he was the one in DNCE and I liked the way his singing voice sounds like Gabe Saporta from Cobra Starship... and Nick Jonas kinda sounds like that too. Lol. Idk he's hotter than Joe Jonas though... not that Joe is unattractive because in a week or so I might suddenly be into older men and then I'm like "Ohhh... Joe Jonas is super hot now." It varies, but I feel like Nick Jonas is a cool guy. We'd probably get along... he seems good! 2) Ansel Elgort- There's a slight theme of younger men here... I had a dream about Ansel Elgort one time... then I started following him on instagram... and then snapchat. I do have to say... the crush isn't quite as str...

Man Crush Monday: Harrison Ford at 28

So recently a shirtless picture of Harrison Ford when he was 28 surfaced online and the internet did a collective "DAYYYYYYUMMMM" cause Harrison Ford is super hot now and he's 73... imagine how hot he was back then... yeah its pretty damn hot. And the photo isn't him trying to be hot either. He's not posing, he's just young, shirtless, dumb and about to be super rich and successful for portraying not one... but two of the most iconic characters in all movie his history... so yeah. Its just an innocent and awesome picture. It isn't that Harrison isn't attractive now, because he was always handsome. He was handsome as Han Solo and Indiana Jones and he's older... but he still looks like Han Solo... but the complete goofy youngness of this photo before Harrison Ford was super super famous is just so sweet and relatable that it makes the super hot picture of young him even hotter. And its like heyy... good for that kid! He grew up to be Han Solo a...

Man Crush Monday: Sam and Dean Winchester

I've been watching Supernatural recently and I'm quite a fan of the two brothers that are the main characters of the show. Mainly, because they're hot... but they are also pretty cool characters and I figured they are MCM worthy. 1) They don't always get along, but they work well together- There are so many times when they fight and disagree. Its very like Mulder and Scully where one would relate more to one thing and the other to another... Sometimes Sam sees "this is important this is supernatural" and sometimes Dean is like "no I don't really see the point" and sometimes its the other way around. They both work well together though and they respect the other's needs for investigating a certain thing. They're both very understanding of one another and they just work really well. 2) They're able to see past the problems and jealousy that they have with each other- There are so many times when Sam thinks Dean is their dads favorit...

Man Crush Monday: Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon is one of my favorite talk show hosts... and I pretty much like all the late night talk show hosts... so that is saying a lot. (I haven't actually watched James Cordin yet, but I have a huge crush on him from Into The Woods, so yeah. I also have a crush on Seth Meyer though... And all the comedy central guys... ugh. Lol. and obviously Jimmy Fallon. Lol.) So yeah... this is saying a lot that he is one of my favorites. 1) He genuinely acts like he has the most fun job in the world-  Jimmy Fallon is always really excited about the show. He pretty much does have the most fun job ever, and he actually appreciates it. He was on SNL, and when he left SNL for late night he was excited and proud of his job, and now on The Tonight Show he's very happy. 2) His Ice Cream Flavors are good- This one is completely random... but I feel like having Ben and Jerry's make an ice cream flavor after you is a really big honor and a great responsibility. You can tell a lot about a...

Man Crush Monday: Flight of The Conchords

My most recent re-obsession has been Flight of the Conchords. It is a brilliant brilliant comedy that ended a while ago and it shouldn't have ended at all. It should still be on. It was sooooo ahead of its time. If it were on now it would probably be a hit. I saw it as a hit back then because it was hilarious and amazing... and clearly everyone on this show is crush worthy... but I'm going to focus on mainly Brett and Jemaine... I think. But Rhys Darby, Arj Barker, and Eugene Mirman are also in this show and are just amazing. And the guy that played Gale on Breaking Bad... lol. ANYWAY here is why they are my man crushes. 1) They're amazing together and separately- Both of them together are absolutely amazing, but Jemaine is more of an actor and a comedy guy and Brett is more of a musician. Brett has an Oscar for his work on The Muppet Movie. Jemaine has a been in a bunch of indie comedies. He has a movie I think is out now called What We Do In The Shadows that looks reall...

Man Crush Monday: Seth Meyers

1) He's a good host- He always seems genuinely interested in all of his guests... which is something I don't think a lot of hosts really are. I feel like he just likes talking to people and he's really good at it and I just like him. 2) He's kept his SNL Friends- Its rare to hear of someone being in an SNL cast and not still being friends with other cast members that were on during the same run, or even older cast members and newer cast members... so I guess it isn't really a huge deal or anything that he's still friends with everyone, but its really cute. I love that Amy Poehler was the first guest on his show and he wrote a chapter in her book. I love that Fred Armisan is his band leader and I love seeing their banter every night. And I love whenever he and Bill Hader are in a room together pretty much... well not Bill Hader, Stephon... but still. lol. And also a few weeks ago they showed a video of Will Forte making a speech at Seth's wedding in chara...

Man Crush Monday: Aziz Ansari (Parks and Rec Week)

(this pic shows exactly how I look at art. Lol)  1) His comedy is really unique because its a bit of everything- Aziz always does things like talk about pop culture, he name drops, he talks about his family, talks about dating, tells stories that he makes up, he talks about food, he sings... he just does a little bit of everything and he does it really really well. I think his first comedy special... Intimate Moments or something that its called really shows that. He even does an over-the top Dane Cook-type comedian thats supposed to be bad and he does it really good! He even told one joke as Randy, the character he does (from the movie Funny People) and one just as Aziz and its so funny to see the difference between the way he tells the same joke. Its something not a lot of people can do, and he does it brilliantly because he can do a little bit of everything. 2) He pokes fun at himself- He doesn't poke fun at himself too much, but he's okay with poking fun at himself a...

Man Crush Monday: The Men of Pawnee Indiana

So let me just say... if Pawnee Indiana existed outside of the show Parks and Recreation, I would move there right away because they have some nice men... sure all of them are married... but still. A girl can dream. Also I believe Jean Ralphio is still single... so yeah. Future Mrs. Saperstein right here. Lol. First off... gotta mention Ron Swanson. He is the manliest man of all. That is kind of my type I guess, idk lol. I like that he has interests like Woodworking and he likes sports and bacon and doesn't like losing, but he's good with kids and he even has a sensitive side (or rather Duke Silver has a sensitive side I suppose). The only thing wrong with dating Ron Swanson is his two rather crazy ex wives, each named Tammy. Actually I might be his type too... I'm brunette and like bacon. I'm not a fan of steak though, but whatever. He can eat more than. And then on the opposite end of the spectrum: Tom Haverford. He would be awesome to date because he's not a ...

Man Crush Monday: Scott Auckerman

1) He's a really good host- The non-crazy parts of the podcast are always really funny. He gets to really good host. He's nice to his guests and promotes them and says how talented they are... but he's not like overly brown nosing. He'll joke around and I feel like he just seems like someone really comfortable to have interview you. I think it would be very nerve-racking to both improvise and do an interview promoting a project, if the host was someone more intimidating. Idk there are a lot of hosts I think aren't good to their guests and some that I think intimidate people... He's good at that. 2) He's also good at improvising- Hosting isn't easy. Improv isn't easy. He does both really really well. It is such a unique show and mostly because of his ability to multi task in this situation makes it even better. If you listen to the episode with Taran Killam and Paul Brittain as the Calvin Twins, he does a great job of sort of helping them with thei...

Man crush Monday: Andy Daily

This is the weirdest and most sudden man crush I think I've ever had. I've been a fan of Andy Daily for a while now, I love Review I think he's funny on Comedy Bang Bang and on at midnight and everything else he's been on as a guest star. I've been listening to Comedy Bang Bang a lot lately and 2 episodes of his were the top 2 episodes of 2014 (the podcast, not the tv show) and I liked the way that Scot was explaining what he and Jason Manzoukas did to Andy Daily while he was on the show. They would like improv bully him basically lol. They would make all his characters super crazy, usually they'd end up killing themselves and you have to "yes and" in improv, so even if you aren't totally comfortable with what you're doing you have to go along with it. Jason was trying to make him break character on the podcast and he ended up doing all of his characters in 2 episodes and it was insane.  As someone that has done improv, I know the exper...

Man Crush Monday: Joel McHale

As a man crush... no one has made a serious complete turnaround like Joel McHale. Before Community I just didn't like him. I wasn't a huge fan of The Soup, and he just seemed kind of like an ass to me. I didn't even like Community the first time I watched it because I didn't like him and it just seemed like he was an ass. Now that's kind of why I like him lol. He isn't afraid to play a complete asshole type of character.  I think I was always sort of... put off by The Soup because a lot of it talks about Reality Shows, and especially E!'s reality shows which are not my cup of tea. Maybe that was what threw me off... I kind of didn't like his comedy styling at the time, and I still don't really watch The Soup, but I appreciate his sense of humor too.  What I think is especially funny about everyone on Community is that they are great with timing. There are so many hilarious jokes that are just like little one-liners and zingers and I think hi...

Man Crush Monday: Evan Peters

Since its Halloween week, I thought I would talk about the person all AHS fans are weirdly attracted to this MCM... EVAN PETERS! 1) He can play the good guy and the bad guy- One of the reasons I think its weird to be so attracted to him is that he can be both good and bad. In season 1 of AHS he was the bad guy that everyone kind of fell in love with because he was so good to Violet. But ultimately he was a very bad guy that did something very very bad (I don't really want to give spoilers... but if you haven't seen season 1 at least you probably have no interest in the series.) But then in season 2 he was really a good guy in a bad place. He was open minded and the aliens chose him for that reason. And in season 3 and from what it seems in season 4... hes not good or bad. He can really do good things. 2) I've never loved his storylines, but I think he does a great job- I like his characters... but I feel like he has very odd storylines that don't quite fit in with t...

Man Crush Monday: Chris Hardwick!

1) His standup is super funny- It's not really that often when someone who is known for being a host and doing funny interviews is actually funny himself when he does standup. I forget what his special that was on Comedy Central was called even, but it was really good. 2) I'm pretty sure he loves his job more than anyone- I just really like that he gets to be a nerd for a living and I think he really enjoys doing that. That's something to really admire. 3) He interviews everyone at the same level- One time on a Jimmy Kimmel, Nia Vardalos was a guest star. She is one of my personal heroes and I absolutely love her, but in reality she isn't the most famous person on the planet. Jimmy Kimmel was a little new of a show at the time... so I think he's probably gotten slightly better since... but when she was on all he talked about was how amazing it was that he just interviewed Quentin Tarantino the day before. Like he wouldn't shut up about it! And it was to the ...

Man Crush Monday: Chris Pratt

1) He can be in any type of movie- I mentioned this in my review of Guardians, but really Chris Pratt is in a lot of different types of movies! Oscar Nominees?Check! Funniest show on Television? Yep! Action Hero? Yessire! Animated? You Betcha! And he does a great job in all of these roles because he's really versatile. This I think is his first major role that isn't animated, and he did a wonderful job.  2) People Love Working With Him- When he was filming Guardians of The Galaxy, there was some magazine interview I read where Nick Offerman and Aubrey Plaza talked about how much they missed him. I think I've mentioned that he and Nick Offerman would send each other photos of their poop...I will never understand men but clearly that's a strong bond and that doesn't always happen on tv. It's definitely man-crushable that he is so easy to get along with and everyone loves him.  3) He's modest- He doesn't seem like a big Hollywood asshole to brag about his s...

Man Crush Monday: Eric Northman

1) He's a Vampire Viking God- Exactly what Pam had told him. He is a vampire Viking... How could you not love him? There is literally nothing hotter than a Vampire Viking God! You can't beat that!  2) He is an amazing maker to Pam- his loyalty to Pam and his relationship with Pam in general is the most beautiful relationship on the show I think. They have always been together and they will always be together no matter what. Through Eric making another vampire, through Eric's illness, Tara's death, the death of Eric's French girl... Just a lot. Maybe he isn't an amazing maker, he can be an asshole, but that's because he has loyalty to others as well, like Nora and Goddrick and Sookie.  3) He can actually admit when he's done wrong, but he also defends his decisions- when Willow said he was a bad maker... He admitted he was a bad maker. He knew that he wasn't good to her, but he loves her still and will continue to love and care for her, even though he...

Man Crush Monday: Channing Tatum

1) He's super hot- Probably the most obvious man crush ever... this is kind of a no brainer. He's super super hot. Just hot hot hot. I try not to be shallow on these Man Crush Mondays, but its kind of obvious that Channing Tatum is hot. 2) He's one of those actors actually worth seeing in theaters- I feel like no matter what role he is in, he's good. With movie prices going up and movie quality going down, and movies being more readily available everywhere, its hard to justify seeing a lot of actors in movies. I think he's someone worth seeing in theaters. That's not something that I can say about very many people, but Channing Tatum is good. Do like. 3) He's actually super funny- He's sooo sooo funny in 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street. I wasn't expecting him to be as funny as Jonah Hill, but he actually really holds up. He didn't even want to do 21 Jump Street originally because he didn't think he could do comedy, but he did it and he ...

Man Crush Monday: Louis Ck 200TH POST!!!!!

Today is my 200th post and I figured I would make it a very special Man Crush Monday and post about my favorite male comedian of the moment and that is Louis Ck. I think that he is one of the funniest people that exists like in the whole world. And like his humor is so simple, but it's something that I don't think anyone other than him could pull off! He is just absolutely fantastic, one of the funniest people alive. And he jokes about a lot of things too! He has jokes about masturbating, and about literature, about horrible thoughts he has and the stupid and mean kids in his kids class. If you're somehow living under a rock and haven't seen any of his stand up, go watch it right now! He is the funniest person ever and I can listen to his stand up all day... and I pretty much have and it does not get old to me. His show is one of the funniest shows on tv too! It's just so brilliant. I love that there's a balance between humor and the heartwarming nature of t...

Man Crush Monday: Danny Castilano (Mindy Project spoilers)

If you were to ask me right now to date one fictional character from television, I think I'd pick Danny Castilano... he is seriously so adorable! He's so in love with Mindy and he doesn't even know it! Well he does know it but... he's just soo stupid about it and its sooo cute! I love them together! OTP for sure!!! I kind of have a crush on every guy that Mindy dates, and everyone on this show in general... but obviously I want Mindy and Danny to be together. And I wasn't all for it last season because I liked sooo many of Mindy's other boyfriends and I thought them being together would be too much like Nick and Jess on New Girl... and I have to admit it is. They are really similar shows especially since Mindy and Danny got together right around the same time as Jess and Nick... but Mindy is a better show and so I've been skipping New Girl a little bit lately. I'll catch up, but I'd rather watch Mindy. I love that he's still super jealous of ...

Man Crush Monday- Stephen Colbert

I  can't believe I haven't posted this yet... but guys I love Stephen Colbert. He is my favorite late night talk show host, I absolutely love his satire, I think he's a really good person that deserves good things and I cannot wait to see him host The Late Show. I'm definitely going to miss The Colbert Report. It is definitely my favorite late night talk show, I always look forward to watching The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and @ Midnight, I've been doing that a lot lately and I just really love it. I really love that he has his own character that can say and do sooo many ridiculous things and I really don't think that anyone can do a satire the way that Colbert does. He really is the best. I also have to say that I love the way that Stephen defended himself after the Cancel Colbert controversy. He handled it really well, he didn't apologize, he said not to attack the girl. He pointed out the truth that was ridiculous about the original report that ...

Man Crush Monday: Aaron Paul

Sooo I think I was going to do a WCW this week, but since I have so many reviews I thought I'd start off with my biggest man crush of the moment: Aaron Paul. I feel like Aaron Paul is someone I wouldn't normally find attractive, I pretty much only know him from playing Jesse on Breaking Bad. I think he's a great character and everything, but normally drug addicts just gross me out and I can't separate their character enough from their real life. (Even though he wasn't a drug addict,I remember seeing Louis Ck's show Lucky Louie on hbo once and thinking I'd never like his comedy because the show was just sooo gross. Lol funny how that changed). Anyhoo he makes me like Jesse, who isn't really that likable of a character. I really can't imagine anyone else playing Jesse Pinkman. I don't think anyone else would really bring what Aaron Paul brought to the role. I also actually saw Need For Speed. I don't like action movies or car movies, but I ...
