Man Crush Monday: Sam and Dean Winchester

I've been watching Supernatural recently and I'm quite a fan of the two brothers that are the main characters of the show. Mainly, because they're hot... but they are also pretty cool characters and I figured they are MCM worthy.

1) They don't always get along, but they work well together- There are so many times when they fight and disagree. Its very like Mulder and Scully where one would relate more to one thing and the other to another... Sometimes Sam sees "this is important this is supernatural" and sometimes Dean is like "no I don't really see the point" and sometimes its the other way around. They both work well together though and they respect the other's needs for investigating a certain thing. They're both very understanding of one another and they just work really well.

2) They're able to see past the problems and jealousy that they have with each other- There are so many times when Sam thinks Dean is their dads favorite because their dad was so upset that Sam went off to college and they had a big fight about it... and then there are times when Dean is upset that Sam was able to get that chance to go to college and have a life while Dean had to hold the family together. They fight a lot about this and there are some unresolved issues... but they never really let that effect "the family business."

3) They genuinely like helping people that no one else can help- They also don't necessarily want this life for themselves, but they do like helping people that no one else is able to help. Like the episode when they're on the plane thats about to crash and Sam is like "we have to get on it" and they don't really want to but they have to help people and they do! And I think they actually like it because they're really the only ones that understand and that can help. I think thats pretty cool.

4) They don't act like heroes, but they are- They never really expect anything other than maybe a Thank You from the people they save... and they aren't exactly superheroes or anything, but they are heroes. They risk their lives all the time just to save one person sometimes and they think of it more of a job than them being a hero. They actually do save people and help people when they investigate the paranormal and they don't really ever act like heroes. Mulder and Scully hardly ever solve anything and usually a bunch of people die... but they still usually act like heroes. I just think its cool that they see saving people as a job more than anything.

5) They're deeper characters than they appear in the first few episodes- At first they seem kind of one- note. Dean is more the daring one and the comic relief and Sam is more level headed and reasonable and he's sort of dragged into the business... but they develop really well throughout the season and you get their struggles within the first half of the first season. Its pretty amazing how well thought out and great these characters are. I was really impressed!

That is everything! I hope you guys aren't getting tired of the Supernatural posts... cause I quite like the show... lol.

Byeee!

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Uhhhh... Where Have I been?

So it hasn't been that long- but I did mention that I wanted to keep this more of a daily-ish blog than I have in years past... and my last post was the  4th and today was the 11th. Did I give up on my resolutions already?  No/Sort of... sooo basically I was kind of considering the real start of the new year January 5th... I was very busy with work things up until the 4th... the 4th was the big work event that I had to do... and then after that I could focus on whatever I wanted to focus on... and my blogs were going to be the number 1 thing that I focused on for sure... I might miss a few days... but surely I'd do something for this blog right on the 5th after the big work thing was done... so just leading up to that as long as I post something- everything is good right?  Nope- I realized my room design... needed some refreshing. And then one project turned into several projects and then that took a few days... I think I started on doing stuff on Wednesday of last ...

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...
