Scribbles About Food: Stop and Shop Fall Goodies

So my mom and I went to Stop and shop and we stopped... and shopped for pumpkin spice goodies and other yummy things.

They had a whole section of stop and shop pumpkin items, so we got

Pumpkin Spice Cookies that are like sandwich cookies with "cheesecake" filling and its amazing. It really tastes pumpkiny and its like a super delicious pumpkin cheesecake oreo. I love it!

A few days ago she also got Quaker Oats Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal... which is good, it wasn't amazing but its pretty good. It tasted a little spicy. Not the best, but not terrible. I'll eat it till its over. Its yum.

We also got Pumpkin Spice Pecans. They had all sorts of nuts, they had cashews and walnuts and maybe almonds too. These are pretty good. They just kind of taste like Honey Roasted peanuts but they have some pumpkin spice flavor to them. Its really yummy and I like it a lot.

My mom wanted these disgusting looking pumpkin spice covered dates and it is... disgusting and horrible. Lol. My mom thought it would taste like something one of her friends moms used to make or something... idk. It wasn't really awful. I ate pistachio fudge and then had one of them and that isn't a good combo, but my mom was like "Eww these are nasty. You need to try it." So idk why, but I tried it... and it was gross and then I was like "why did you make me eat that? I didn't even want to try these when you got them." and that was funny. I may actually give them another try because really they weren't the worst thing ever... but not the best. Lol. It tastes like gummy pumpkin spice bird food...

We also got some of my favorite halloween candies. Orange Kit Kats, which are white on outside and chocolate on the inside and caramel apple milky ways. I'm still looking for Pumpkin Latte M&Ms but those are good.

And these aren't really fall related but we got K Cups. Donut House Chocolate Glazed and Donut Shoppe Nutty Caramel. So good. We got some regular Potato chips for my mom and Cool Ranch Doritos for me... so yummy.

And those are all the snack-y things we got. We also got basil and pasta... which is what we came in for and cold cuts... which they have a great selection of at Stop and Shop. Lol. Just thought I'd mention that.

So I have a post coming up about things I'm excited for in Fall, in the upcoming fall months but a bunch of the stuff I was writing somehow got deleted and I'm not happy about that. And I feel too defeated to re-write it cause it was some of my funniest stuff and if I re-write it now... I'll just be frustrated and it won't be funny! Lol.

So thats all. Hope you guys are having fun with Pumpkin Spice Hunting.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
