Scribbles About TV: Fox Fall Schedule

Monday

8pm- Gotham
I like Gotham... I kind of stopped watching the first season because it wasn't the most exciting thing on TV... but I did like a lot of the villains and overall it is a good villain of the week type of procedural show.

9pm Minority Report- This is based off of the Tom Cruise movie. I saw previews it looked pretty good but I probably won't warch it... idk. Not my cup of tea.

Tuesday

8pm Grandfathered- John Stamos and Josh Peck star in Two and A Half Men! I don't really see how this will be that good... idk

8:30 The Grinder- Idk what this show is about... but thats an unfortunate title... and Titles are incredibly important so that may be the death of the show... I'm about to watch the trailer... never mind they don't seem to have one on the Fox Website... thats a bad sign. Yeah this is going to get canceled and I think Grandfathered will too... but its not a huge worry, their midseason shows are good. New Girl is returning midseason. Plus there are better Tuesday Comedies on ABC... so thats what I'm going to watch.

9 pm Scream Queens- This looks awesome! Ryan Murphy horror- comedy... sign me up! I'll definitely check this one out!

Wednesday

8pm Rosewood- I don't know what this is about... I think I remember hearing it was pretty good though... so meh? Lol. Not sure. Probably good.

9pm Empire- Surprise hit of last year that I still haven't seen but I'm sure its amazing. I think most of Fox's shows come back later... so I have some time to catch up on this and Gotham... yeah. Not bad.

Thursday

8pm Bones- Don't watch the show... but it always interested me... well no it didn't. I've thought it looked good from like last season or a few seasons ago. I'd check it out it doesn't look awful.

9pm Sleepy Hollow- This had a really great pilot and I liked the second episode too... but I didn't have time to continue watching it... and now I have other shows I'm watching, but maybe I'll add this to the list as well because I really liked the pilot and the two main characters sort of have a Mulder/Scully dynamic that I dig!

Friday

8pm Masterchef Junior- I feel like Gordon Ramsey isn't a great chef... he has a restaurant in Atlantic City and my friends said the food wasn't good and... to quote her... I don't have a meme maker for the Gordon Ramsey meme... but "I've gotten better service with boost mobile in a cave than I did in your restaurant." Lol.

9pm World's Funniest- Terry Cruise is hosting this, he is awesome. Idk what this is... I'm guessing its a funniest commercials or funniest videos type of thing. I think he's hosted some funniest commercials. Idk I think it'll be good.

Saturday

Fox Sports all night

Sunday

7:30 Bob's Burgers- I love this show! I usually don't catch it when its on tv anymore though cause I eat around 7:30 or I'm doing something other than watching Bob's Burgers. Still not a bad show though!

8 The Simpsons- I wasn't allowed to watch this as a kid... so I don't think I'll ever really like it the way I'm supposed to. I know people love it... but I'm never going to love it that way because I don't have the nostalgia that people who love it have. I watch it and laugh, but I know I'm never going to understand it the way it should be understood... so yeah. If you want your kids to like the Simpsons show them early on otherwise they won't have an attachment to it and they can like it and respect it... but it will never be their thing.

Maybe its like breastfeeding. Lol. Watch it while you breastfeed and maybe your children will love it the way its meant to be loved. I'd rather show them Bob's Burgers, which I think will still be on.

8:30 Brooklyn 99- A good solid show. I haven't watched all of last season but I really love this show. I kind of hope they move it to Tuesdays... idk I would love for this show to be on with New Girl and Last Man on Earth... and maybe Bob's Burgers... lol.  Great show, but not something I want to watch on Sundays... which is why I missed a lot of last season.

9 Family Guy- Respect Seth MacFarlane... not a fan.

9:30 The Last Man On Earth- Loveee this show. This is actually my favorite comedy currently on I think. I've said that about a lot of shows... but its this one. Really great show. Highly recommend watching it. One of the best first seasons ever... really loved it and I'm excited for more.

Really what is exciting though are the midseason shows. The X Files Reboot! New Girl's return! Something Called Lucifer that will probably be interesting. Something called The Frankenstein code which looks promising... The Guide to Surviving Life and Bordertown... which might also be good. So those are exciting. Obviously, I'm most excited about The X Files.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
