Scribbles About Food: Not Your Fathers Root Beer (21+)

So this is my first review of an alcoholic beverage I believe and I think thats cool. I know my profile picture probably looks a little young, but I am almost 24 so I can drink this stuff! Responsibly of corse, I don't drive but thats something not cool to do and I don't drink too much, I know my limits... I know people that don't know their limits and do drink to much and I don't like drinking with them so don't be that friend! Have a good time if your drinking but don't overdo it. This PSA brought to you by Shannon. Lol.

Anyway onto the review which is the fun part. I just recently started liking beer... but I'm weird with it. I like Miller Light... which is probably the worst stuff you could drink lol... but cold from the fridge, I don't mind it. My favorite is Blue Moon, which again I prefer from the bottle. I'm a bottle person, idk what it is I just really prefer drinking from a bottle. I also love Root Beer and Root Beer Floats. And this tastes just like root beer. There is barely any alcohol taste, my sister hates beer and she really liked this.

This isn't exactly like normal beer though, it doesn't really have a high alcohol content... but for beer its pretty high. I had one and it was stronger than I expected. I could definitely see if if people drank a few of these getting pretty drunk. They don't taste like alcohol at all really so I can see not even realize your drinking anything and then getting drunk. Its something you should definitely be careful for.

The woman at Wegman's also said these are like 500 calories... which is insane! It doesn't say anywhere on the packaging, so idk how true that is... I know if you're drinking beer you aren't exactly concerned about the calories but I thought I'd point it out. These are also hard to find. In NJ its like impossible, these are a small brewery... I think they're from Pennsylvania and there is a very high demand for them, so a lot of liquor stores are limiting customers to 1 6 pack per person... but if you can find them, pick one up. They're really yummy and definitely worth the 500 possible calories lol.

That is it! Hope you guys like this, remember my PSA. And enjoy!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
