Throwback Thursday- Pop Star: Never Stop Never Stopping

Ughhhh I keep teasing the Throwback Thursdays for AHS... and they're coming... but I was going to finish watching the first season this morning... and I had a nightmare about American Horror Story... it kind of combined Tate with Kai... and it was good because Evan Peters was in it... but it was scary still... so it wasn't exactly the first thing I wanted to watch. But anyway in an attempt to watch movies more often... I saw this on demand and I was like "You know, I've never seen this movie." So I watched it and I really really liked it. It was so funny... I wish I had watched it sooner... it was great. So it's kind of based off The Lonely Island sketches and it's also pretty much a parody of Justin Bieber's movie and his career lows... Andy Samberg plays Connor4Real who was in a band with 2 of his best friends that he grew up with... I think they called that band "The Style Boyz" or something and they had some hits but then they broke u...

Celebrities that I think can EGOT

I've always been obsessed with the idea of EGOTing ever since I saw it on 30 Rock. Basically it means to win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and a Tony. Here's my list of stars I think have what it takes. 1) Andy Samberg- This would make me the absolute happiest. I think he already has a grammy, he's on his way to an Emmy... and I think he could win an Oscar and a Tony also. The Lonely Island helped write the song "Everything is Awesome" from The Lego Movie... which I'm sure had it been released earlier. I think he could win an oscar for a lot of things, he's actually a good actor and I'm sure he could win for an acting role. He can also write really well, so he could probably win an award for writing also. Sure he hasn't been on broadway... yet. He totally could do something on broadway or write a song for broadway or something. This guy has a lot of talent and I think he has what it takes to EGOT! 2) Pharell- He already has a Grammy. He's nomin...

Man Crush Monday- Andy Samberg

Helllooooooo everybody! (yep I said that like Mrs. Doubtfire... dont judge. I've mentioned him before, I will mention it again... Andy Samberg is KILLIN IT this year. You know when people say things like "2014 is gonna be my year" well chances are it is not. Why? Because this year belongs to Andy friggin Samberg. Okay that intro may have been just a tad overdramatic, but... I mean come on it is this man's year! He just got married, he won a golden globe, he's on the funniest new show this year that just had a great episode after the superbowl. This dude is awesome, and I have a feeling he will just get more and more awesome over time. And it's funny because other than The Lonely Island and Hot Rod, I never thought Andy Samberg was all that funny. I didn't think he was great on any other SNL sketches because I didn't think he was that great of an actor, and he's been in some movies that looked pretty bad. That's my boy looked really awful....

Golden Globe Awards Recap!

Okay so I'm writing this as the Golden Globes is still on... but Everyone I care about won already and I only really wanted to see Amy and Tina host... so yeah thats about it. First the Red Carpet stuff was far too long and boring. They had it on for like 2 hours on NBC... which is far too long. They didn't even really show that much, I didn't see many of the dresses until I looked at a red carpet thing that entertainment weekly had. So here are some people I thought looked really good.  As far as men go, the guys from Parks and Rec are always the most handsome. They're like my guys and aside from Rob Lowe's odd hair... they all looked really good. Particularly Pratt with his new Marvel Body and Adam Scott with facial hair... ohhh my gosh he's just swoon worthy I love him. And Aziz looked amazing and Nick Offerman... and even with Rob Lowe's hair he was just great!  Idris Elba, Andy Samberg, Seth Meyers also looked quite nice. I love that they ke...

Review Time! Brooklyn 99

Okay this week is finals week and all this crap is happening right now, so here is a quick little review on my favorite show this year Brooklyn 99. It's a workplace comedy about cops basically. It's similar to Parks and Recreation and The Office, but they put a different spin on it, so it doesn't feel like you're watching the same show done 3 different ways. The mockumentary- type style things are my favorite type of shows and I really don't know why. These don't use any talking heads or anything like that, instead they show a lot of flashbacks, which is cool and different. It's just different and good. I didn't think this show would be that good honestly and I really have no idea why. I like the type of show it is, I think Andy Samberg and Joe LaTrujio (I think thats how you spell his name... not sure). I guess the cop thing kind of threw me off and the commercials didn't look that amazingly funny. I happened to catch an episode because I had no...
