13 Nights of Blogoween Day 4: Scribbles About Events: The Glow Jack O Lantern Experience

This is something I've heard a lot about on the radio and it just sounded like a lot of fun to me! Its a little trail where they have over 5,000 jack o lanterns all lit up in one place and its just a really cool thing. If you have kids and they aren't into the spookier events that go on, this is great. There are some spooky pumpkins and some spooky decorations, but there's no one there to jump out and scare you... its just a really fun, neat thing to look at. A lot of the pumpkins were just regular Jack o Lantern faces, which were really cute. They had a pumpkin garland thing too, which did appear to be hand carved out of tiny pumpkins or gourds, probably with string lights attached to it... which was cool. And they sort of had a bunch of different areas that had themes. There was one with TV characters like The Sopranos, Breaking Bad and I think there was a Scarface and Godfather pumpkin. There was also a pirate area and a dinosaur area. And they had pumpkins placed in...

Scribbles About Places: Red Bank, NJ

So... I figured I'd just talk about this. Red Bank is a really interesting town to wonder around in here at The Jersey Shore... and I figured I'd just talk about it. I was wondering around aimlessly yesterday and it was just fun and different. Red bank is a sort of touristy area, but also kind of a fancy person area... so there are tons of little shops for clothes and stuff like that. There are some restaurants and a lot of bakeries. Its just kind of a cool place. If you're looking for pokemon, there are lots of good places in Red Bank. Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash is a Pokemon Gym. There are lots of Pokestops. There's a bank that's a Pokestop and they have an advertisement that says "Come inside! We have water and air conditioning!" I think its cool when local businesses get involved with the pokemon stuff. Its just more fun and its probably good for them too. I'm a little pokemon'ed out to be honest... so I didn't go to that many...

Scribbles About Food: Kane Morning Bell Beer (with Rook Coffee)

So if you are a beer drinker or a coffee fan in New Jersey... you probably know about Kane Brewery and Rook Coffee... and they have a beer together called Morning Bell and I tried it a few weeks ago... and its interesting, so I figured I'd do a review on it. I've only done one other beer review on this blog for Not Your Father's Root Beer... and I'm not really a huge beer drinker... but I feel like I know about it enough to talk about it here... so yeah. Please only try this if you are 21 or over and drink responsibly! I'm 24 btw... people usually think I'm younger...so I'm just clarifying that in case anyone is like "Why am I taking beer advice from a teenage girl?" I'm not a teenage girl... so yeah. Happy Women's Appreciation Month! Lol. So this is basically beer combined with black coffee... which is weird. But the beer is good and Rook Coffee is not terrible black. As I said I'm not a huge beer drinker... but I also don't re...
