13 Nights of Blogoween Day 3: Scribbles About Events: Camp Evans Base of Terror

This is a fun local Halloween event! I went last year and this year... and whenever the first year they started doing this was... and its improved a lot and it is probably the best haunted house I've been to... I like the ones in Six Flags a lot... but this one is pretty creepy in itself. Camp Evans Base is a weird place in general.  Here  is the history of it all. Its a huge place, so its super creepy to just have a haunted house that massive... but it is really good. And I think they've even expanded how big it is. The first year I think it ended early but there was a haunted hay ride with it... now they just have the walk through, which is really cool. They have a lot of really cool decorations and a lot of people in costumes. They sort of have everything in little sections. So you go in one section and its an asylum, one section dolls, one is a haunted Alice in Wonderland type of thing, a clown section... they separate everything pretty well too so that the transitions...

Scribbles About Events: The Rook Run 5k

Soooo if you've ever been to the Jersey Shore... and you drink coffee... or beer, you probably know what Rook is. They're a nice local coffee shop, there are stores all over. They have good coffee, iced coffee.. Its a little strong for me. I'm quite a sweet tooth, but I still enjoy the New Orleans blend, The Pumpkin Blend and the Gingerbread and it is pretty delicious! So this was my first time competing in the event... I signed up as a runner... but everyone else I knew was walking, so I ended up walking also. Okay that isn't true. I really didn't train to run at all... and my sister is pregnant, so she thought it would be better to walk... and then we all sort of ended up walking instead of running... so we were towards the end of the list on the competing side... which is fun. Next year we won't be! Lol. Anyway yeah this is my first time competing, its actually a nice, easy trail... its really hard to walk it, I was quite tired afterwards. When we got to ...

Bridesmaid Diaries: Red Bank Wedding Walk Review

So this is a fun one! The Red Bank Wedding Walk is always a big deal in NJ. And Red Bank is sort of a touristy area... if you know NJ, you probably know Red Bank... but yeah I went there for that and it was fun... lots to do, lots of good ideas and stuff so I'll get into it. So basically you walk, or take a shuttle, to all these different stores in Red Bank that are trying to showcase why they are necessary for weddings, and they give freebies and pretty much everywhere had refreshments and candy and all of that kind of stuff. So this event wasn't necessarily the most useful for us because my sister's wedding is almost here and we already have most of what we need... but we had fun anyway and we want to go back next year! Lol neither of us will be a bride next year... probably. Lol. She won't I probably won't as I have no boyfriend... but whatevs you never know. Lol. And there are things you wouldn't really think of getting. Like there was a tea and spice sh...
