So I don't know Prince songs all that well... but I am a fan and I thought I'd talk about some of his songs and why he has a big influence in my life. There aren't any Prince songs I know all the words to or anything... there are some songs that I didn't know he sang until today... which is what made me a fan of David Bowie, so that's cool. He's influenced a ton of musicians today though. For one: Ke$ha. She is also from Minnesota and she actually got her start by breaking into his house and dropping off her EP. Luckily, she's a talented singer, and Prince was a religious man (probably at the time) so it was probably easy for him to forgive her and give her a chance. That's important to me because really I do like Kesha's music.
