The Daily Something

So when I found out Aaron Burr was having a Christmas CD I got super excited! I think he has my favorite singing voice of anyone in the Original Hamilton cast... and I just really like it! I'm not that into his jazz cd because I'm not that into jazz... but I know he's a really good singer and I like Christmas Music, so it was good! So the selection of songs on the cd is kind of unique. These aren't songs that are un-traditional... but they aren't necessarily ones that you hear all the time on every radio station... and its sort of a different take on them too. The music is unique and Leslie's voice is just so amazing that it really does well with all of the songs. And the songs on the cd are Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, The First Noel, My Favorite Things, I'll Be Home for Christmas, Merry Christmas Darlin, The Christmas song, Winter Song, and Ave Maria... in almost that order... lol. Favorites  I honestly don't remember my favorites... this week was kind of a blur... so let's just kinda wing it? The Middle- I thought that this weeks episode of The Middle was good. It was sad... but good. I was surprised that they kind of "went there" with the Axl and April story... but I liked it! Charlie Brown Thanksgiving- I love this! It's so cute to see Snoopy cooking up "Thanksgiving dinner." I love it! Simply Christmas by Leslie Odom, Jr.- I listened to this while cleaning the bathroom. Really good! Definitely like it a lot! Life Scribbles -Monday I went grocery shopping with my Mom at a place called Delicious Orchards... I think they don't usually open on Mondays... but they're pretty crazy the Monday before Thanksgiving... and yeah. They were packed. We also went to Target and some other grocery stores. So I don't think I did the before bed blog yesterday... ugh. Anyway I wanted to talk about when something that you like just kind of becomes readily available in like a surplus. This is especially true right now if you happen to love Hamilton. Don't get me wrong, Hamilton is Amazing... but unless you saw the play... there wasn't all that much to go with it for a while. I still LOVE it and listen to it or reference it in some way every single day pretty much...but there wasn't a whole lot to it until recently. First off is the Leslie Odom, Jr. Christmas cd Simply Christmas. I'm so excited about this. How can anyone not be excited about an Aaron Burr Christmas album! He is a really amazing singer and I just think its awesome that he's singing Christmas songs. That comes out this week! (and if you get it from his website, you can get a signed copy!)
