Scribbles About TV: This Is Us- After the Superbowl

So I did MANY recaps of This is Us last year... but this year I just kind of didn't watch it. It's a great show and everything... but they just kind of milked that story with Jack's death WAYYYYY too long and it just made me a little bit impatient and... we already 90% knew last year... I'm not sure why it was such a huge reveal... but it was still a good episode nonetheless. This was a really great "after the super bowl" show because anyone could really enjoy it. I haven't seen the show this season and I understood and enjoyed all of it... I think if it was your first time watching you could still enjoy it. If you're a fan and loyal viewer- obviously you would probably be satisfied with getting some answers as to what happened for Jack's Death. So I think that this was a really good episode for after the super bowl. And This is Us usually follows a few different substories... This one we had the flashback to Jack's Death... then we had how...

Superbowl Scoop Superbowl 52! 2018! The Game, The Halftime Show, The Commercials, The Memes!

Alllright! Now for my favorite type of blog maybe? A big TV event happens and this is my scoop about it! And The Superbowl might just be the biggest event on TV... so I've got a lot to talk about. Now I'm not a big football fan... but I have to admit every time the Superbowl comes on... I actually enjoy watching it. The games are usually pretty exciting and this time especially I thought "huh, maybe I'll watch next year." It was a genuinely interesting game that made me want to watch more games! And I don't totally understand football... but basically Philly did really good in the first 2 quarters... and then in the 3rd and 4th the Patriots picked up a bit of momentum... the last few superbowls the Patriots have been in have been pretty big comeback games... so I wouldn't have been surprised if that happened again- but I was rooting for the Eagles... I root against New England teams typically as someone from New Jersey... so yeah. I also just don't...

Superbowl Smackdown! Superbowl 51

Hamilton wrote the other 51!!! Jk... that's just what I think of when I hear the word 51 now. This didn't seem like it would be the most exciting Super Bowl ever. It was the Falcons second Super Bowl ever and they've never won... so it seemed that this would be kind of a cased closed, easy win for the Patriots... who have won Superbowls several times before. As it turns out... the Falcons kind of kicked ass in the game up until around the 3rd quarter. It seemed impossible for the Patriots to win after that... but The Patriots were able to tie in the 4th Quarter and then won when the game went into overtime in the First time in Superbowl History!!!!! But now to the fun part... What'd I eat? Lol. I don't know if I've done this in the past Superbowl Smackdown's in previous years... but I thought I'd do it this year. We always have the same things for the most part. Chli in sort of a "do it yourself" type of way. We have all sorts of taco bow...

Superbowl Scoop! Superbowl 50

So I want to do this even though I don't think I have much to say about the game... I don't understand football too much and I usually watch the Commercials and the halftime show and stuff... but this year nothing was too great... but the game was a little exciting to begin with. So why was this game particularly exciting? Peyton Manning is old. He's not OLD, he's 39... which is pretty old for a Quarterback and he is in fact the oldest QB to win or be in a Super Bowl. He is up against The Panthers, who have never won a Super Bowl and their QB is Cam Newton who is pretty much a superhuman. He's what you think of when you think of a football player. One of my favorite cooking channels on youtube (Food Wishes) said that Peyton Manning looks like your dad and Cam Newton looks like a superhero... so it seemed like a pretty obvious win for the Panthers... ... but that didn't happen! The Broncos got the first touchdown or whatever and they were on a pretty good str...

Superbowl Scoop

I'm not much of a sports person... but I watch the superbowl... mostly for the ads... but the ads sucked this year and the game was pretty okay... soooo here's my little review about it. First off... Marshawn Lynch. He recently did a press conference in which he answered absolutely no questions and had a giant bowl of skittles on the table. It's just so funny that they kept asking questions and he said NOTHING! lol. Plus he had a giant thing of skittles that he was eating at the game. He's just a funny dude that is quite awesome. Other things we noticed: Number 75 on the Patriots looked like his uniform was a little snug. A few of the patriots looked like they had a bit of a snug uniform too. Maybe they cheated or something like that since that seems to be a thing they do. And I was "voting" for the Seahawks to win because Marshawn Lynch, plus they have pretty uniforms and as hot as Tom Brady is, he's a cry baby and I don't like him. Plus its Chr...

Stuff That Happened This Week! 1/25/15

1) Comedy Central announces roast of Justin Bieber- This is exciting news for me because I hate Justin Bieber as a person, but I can stand his singing to a certain degree... also I love comedy and depending on the panel, this could be absolutely amazing. Jeff Ross is going to make this kid cry! I'm hoping Nick Kroll is on the panel because he does a character very similar to the Biebz on Kroll show. I'd kind of like to see him be the Roast Master actually... idk who else I'd like to see... maybe some other Canadian Comedian... this could be amazing. Its going to air in March and I'm just wondering who the panel is going to be. I'm not a huge fan of roasts, but the Roast of James Franco was absolutely brilliant. I think this might not be as good because I don't know if Bieber will roll with the punches as well as Franco did. Plus usually they don't actually insult the roastee that much. They kind of insult everyone on the panel... and usually there will be ...
