The Daily Something

This one is a little bit different because the other 2 Star Wars Throwback Thursdays I hadn't seen any of them since December... this one I actually kind of forgot some details a bit... and it was on TV so I watched a bit of the beginning... I have to say... this one I feel like doesn't totally work on it's own. From the little bit I watched of it I was like "This is weird." So I think the original Star Wars Movies are now stronger as a trilogy than watching them too far apart. I would say maybe the first 2 you can watch kind of stand alone... but this one works better if you watch it along with the other 2. The beginning is just VERY Sci- Fi-ish... so you really have to be in the mood for Star Wars when you see it. It's a little bit cheesy and technology wise... it didn't quite age well in the context of the other 2 in my opinion... and while I thought this had the best beginning when I watched it as a trilogy... from that little bit that I saw I was li...

There may be some spoilers in here for Star Wars and some other Disney Movies maybe... so just keep that in mind. Everyone is making their guesses as to who Rey's parents are... and while I kind of think it seems pretty obvious its Luke Skywalker... I'm going to venture outside of the Star Wars Universe and into the Disney/ Marvel Universe because Rey reminded me of some other Disney Characters and I thought it would be cool if maybe her parents were someone else. Obviously, this isn't cannon... and its not as good as whatever they have planned in the Star Wars Universe... but I thought "hey this is cool anyway." So... yeah. Also... these aren't necessarily parents, but relatives. Star Wars took place a long time ago... so keep that in mind. Lol. Boo from Monster's Inc  So for some reason, in the beginning when Rey puts her helmet on when she's just sitting down for no real reason... she does it in kind of a child-like manner that makes me think...

I'M A CALM PERSON BUT EVERY OTHER FRIDAY, I LIKE TO RELEASE MY ANGER AND EXPLAIN THE THINGS THAT MILDLY ANNOY ME IN A FASHION THAT IS RATHER ANGRY AND OVERLY DRAMATIC. DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT????? GOOD! Random Coupon Thing This actually really annoyed me. Lol. Ulta had a couple deals going. First off they had a 20% off everything coupon (including prestige) and that was pretty awesome and I'm very thankful for that. Ulta is my favorite store for makeup... for the most part.  Nyx is a good brand and I was going to use that coupon with it because they are a pricey brand even though they aren't prestige... I like to buy things from them when they have deals like the 20% off coupon. Anyway they had buy one get one half off face cosmetics and buy one get one half off eye cosmetics, which you could combine with other eye cosmetics from different brands like Revlon and L'oreal... but they didn't combine together. So you couldn't get one eye product ...

So I finally FINALLY saw the newest star wars movie... and it was awesome. I thought everyone was great. I think John Boyega could have been nominated for an Oscar for it. I know theres a lot of controversy about the Oscars... but honestly I thought The Force Awakens could have been nominated for SOMETHING more than just technical categories and his character made me most excited I think. It was great to see everyone else... but immediately from the get-go I connected with him and I thought he brought the heart to the movie and he was just really amazing. He wins a Shanny Award. Lol. None of the nominees sound appealing to me this year. I think Spotlight sounds the most interesting... but I don't think it'll win a Shanny. Lol. I totally love that I just made an awards named after myself. But I think he deserves it. I love him. I also loved Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, and Lupita Nyongo as well. And all the new characters really. BB-8, Po... everyone just fit in really nicely an...

So today I'm going to do the Movies and TV Charts because I think those pertain the most to me this week... so yeah! I wanted to do this because I actually saw a movie this week! So yeah!  TV via Nielson Top 10 for Twitter TV Ratings in the TV And Specials category  So this was weird. A lot of the ratings were from December, but the twitter ratings were current. I guess it measures what people are talking about and watching by their hashtags and stuff like that. Idk. Idk how it works... but I watched and liked at least one of these so... why not. Btw I said top 10 thats just the list name, I'm only talking about the top 5... so yeah.  5) Pretty Little Liars- I watched the first episode of this show because I was bored... and it was okay. I mostly liked it because everyone was super pretty. Lol. I liked the fashion of the show and otherwise it was okay. I kind of want to watch this again but it isn't really my cup of tea and I know I won't love it that much....

So this is a different edition of Chart Chat. I needed something to do and Chart Chats are easy... but whenever I do the Music charts too close together... its always the same few songs that are at the top... so instead of that, I decided to do the top movies on iTunes too... I may do different things in the future also just cause I like Chart Chats... but I don't like the same songs over and over again. I've never seen the Squeakqel or Chipwrecked or anything... but it is a Christmas tradition that around every few Christmases theres an Alvin and the Chipmunks movie! Cute family fun. Although it looks like people are a little over this franchise as well. It seems like if you had little kids this would be the movie to see on Christmas... but this didn't really make a ton of money.
