I usually like Christmas music in General... this year I'm working retail... so Christmas Music isn't really my first go-to as far as music goes... but I do still like it... and honestly my favorites are from the Christmas Soundtrack at work right now. I'll probably go and listen to the full albums... but these are still just good ones. 1) Everyone's A Kid At Christmastime by Stevie Wonder-  I like Stevie Wonder in general... and I like his Christmas Songs in general... but this one is really special and good. I like that he mentions even Scrooge can be a kid at Christmas Time... it's just a really clever song that I really really like. 2) Gwen Stefani's Christmas Songs-  This is shocking because usually I don't listen to Gwen Stefani because something terrible ALWAYS happens when I listen to Gwen Stefani... but I have to say her Christmas songs are actually great. So I feel like since its my 666th post and its almost the season of gift giving, I'd talk about some weird superstitions about giving gifts or getting gifts that will maybe help you a little bit when you're deciding to buy some things. I'm not superstitious, I'm a little stitious. Lol NAME THAT QUOTE! I'm actually pretty superstitious. Lol. 1) Giving Pearls as a gift is bad luck Pearls make a great gift for the holidays! But apparently its bad luck to give them as a gift! If someone were to give them to you for a gift, you could give them a dollar or something so that technically it isn't a gift. 1) New Ghostbusters Visit Children's Hospital in Full Costume- This is fairly awesome news! The Ladies of the new Ghostbusters Reboot coming out next summer visited a Children's Hospital in Boston in their ghost-busting gear and everything! Thats pretty cool! The movie is currently filming in Boston and it only seems right to visit a children's hospital while filming right? Even if they don't know what exactly ghostbusters are yet, I'm sure there will be a resurgence in the toys and maybe even a cartoon network marathon of the cartoon show or something! I'm Shannon, this is my blog, and here is what happened this week! 1) Gwen Stefani gives birth to a baby boy- This I think happened Saturday... but close enough. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale both very talented... but Gwen Stefani is trying to kill me... as I have recently posted... so this is yet another spawn of Satan lol. His name is Apollo Bowie Flynn which is just great. What the hell am I supposed to name my kid now! Lol. 2) And the Award goes to- The Oscars happened on Sunday. I'm actually writing this part on Saturday, so I'm going to place my bets here and then we will see who actually won after. Best Picture- 12 Years a Slave. Okay kind of a harsh title... I guess we aren't really arch enemies. She's a grown famous woman with 3 kids and I'm just a 22 year old college student with a blog. That being said, she's been trying to kill me for years.
