THIS WEEK IN TV (Week of 10/19)

Sunday  Once Upon a Time- I liked this weeks episode... but there were so many sad moments. Like Hook still being a bad guy a little bit... but he loves Emma so much that he might change. And there was Rumple being a really bad guy too. And Mickey Mouse was in it which was cool. I was happy to see a little more of Anna, but I don't like Anna as much as Elsa. Brooklyn 99-  Really good episode. It was a callback to last year's Halloween episode where Jake tries to steal Holt's medal, only this time he tries to steal his watch. They really did a good job of taking something they already did and making it really good and different a second time. It was similar to Arrested Development's "Pier Pressure" and "Making a Stand." So good. Just good TV all around. The Affair- Didn't actually catch this weeks ep. I'm sure it was good, I'll have to catch up tomorrow. Monday  Gotham- Really clever episode. I liked that there was even almost a ...

This Week In TV! Storybrooke is Frozen,Always Sunny guest stars on Fox Comedies,Selina Kyle origin &more (9/3/14)

Sooo this is a new thing I want to do every week... As you may know, I watch a lot of TV and I've thought of doing OUAT Recaps... but then when AHS comes back on I'm going to want to do that also... so I just thought why not just do a full on recap of all the shows I've watched that week at the end of the week? There will probably be spoilers, there are some shows I don't always watch but I'll try to catch up on. Also I want to try to write these pretty much right after I watch whatever show I watch, so these will all be reviews I write different times probably. Sunday  Once Upon A Time- Ahhhh the long awaited Frozen Once Upon a Time premier! I didn't like the movie Frozen all that much, but I was excited to see what Once Upon a Time would do with it... and overall I was both pleased and slightly disappointed. I liked the addition of Elsa and Anna, I think they're both really fun characters and great actresses and Kristoff too was quite funny. But... I...

Scribbles About TV Shows I Can Watch Zillions of Times Without Getting Sick Of Them

I've recently started re-watching some shows I've already seen before and watching again for at least the second time. I thought I might as well post this, because its rare. Arrested Development- Clearly I've seen this show a lot and I'll never ever get sick of it. Whenever it's on tv, it doesn't matter what season I will watch it again and again. I've probably only watched season 4 as a whole 2 times, but still. The original 3 seasons are amazing and I could still watch them when I'm 80 years old and laugh. Breaking Bad- My other Favorite Tv Show! I've started rewatching this because AMC has their Breaking Bad Binge and its still just as good. It's rare for me to watch a drama more than once, but this is definitely something I want to watch again and again. I feel like I should watch the series at least once a year, its just so brilliant. The League- Whenever a new season of The League comes out on Netflix, I always watch the whole thing. ...

Scribbles About TV: Best Lines From Shows

A lot of times a lot of jokes and stuff in tv shows can get lost throughout the entire series and things like that... but there are a few hidden gems in the writing world that just stick out to me even years after the show has ended. This is kind of something I want to do a lot in with my writing, so this is something that's important to me. These may not be the exact lines and they aren't the Will And Grace  This is what inspired this post. There's an episode where I believe Grace is fighting with her friend Ellen and Karen is trying to stick up for Grace I believe. She insults what Ellen is wearing and: Ellen: I got this from Ann Taylor Loft! Karen: And when you walked down the street I bet they all Loft! (meaning laughed.) I just thought that was so funny. And now of corse whenever I see a Loft or an Ann Taylor Loft I say "and when you walk down the street, they'll all lof" lol. I was with a group of my friends a few weeks ago and one of my friends...

Scribbles About TV: The League Season 6 Premier.

Soooo I kind of forgot to post something... but I watched the League and I thought it was funny? The End? Lol I guess I should post a little bit more than that, I didn't watch the end of last season before watching this, so I didn't actually know who won the Shiva and the Sacko, but I thought it was super funny that Jenny won the Shiva and sadly Kevin won the Sacko. Also random: I recently had a dream that I was dating Steve Rannazzisi and I referred to him by his whole name and everything, which is weird. Anyway I sort of have a thing for him now and I thought he was hot. He's kind of disgusting most of the time but whatever. Guess I think he's hot now. Speaking of hot guys, what about Adam Brody dying!!!! I'm in love with him and I thought it was pretty funny. Not surprised they drafted at his funeral because really, he would have wanted it that way. I mean clearly he loved all of them and he even is leaving his house to whoever wins! That's a crazy plot t...

Man Crush Monday- Mark Duplass

So I talked about doing this before and I was a little hesitant, because I don't really have a ton of actual celebrity crushes and if I were to talk about celebrities that I actually have crushes on, it would probably be super shallow and not that interesting. When I do Woman Crush Wednesdays I talk about women that I admire and want to be like more than girls I think are hot. Sooo I figured I'd post about some guys I admire instead of just guys I think are hot. Mark Duplass is a pretty cool guy, so he made the list first. Alright first off, he's super funny on The League. I just assumed he was just a funny guy that did stand up comedy and over the top funny movies. Then I saw Safety Not Guaranteed, which he stars in and I think he and his brother Jay produced also. It's probably one of my favorite movies ever, and I just thought he was great and he seemed to really get into his character. He played a crazy person that was actually a genius, which I feel like is close...
