Ahhh the much-instagrammed Unicorn Frap. Is it worth the hype? Or just a cute instagram picture... Neither... and both lol. So yes... it was all over Instagram... I have 3 Instagram accounts so I was seeing it everywhere and had lots and really wanted to try it to see if it was worth the hype... It's definitely a "Do it for the gram" drink... which a lot of Starbucks food is... I love getting their sugar cookies because I like posting pictures on Instagram of them... no shame in that! Anyhoo... The Unicorn Frap! What did it taste like? Would you like it, would you not like it? What's up with it????? So... it changed flavors every few sips. Some sips were really sweet like a Sweet Tart or something... and that was kind of good but kind of gross... I liked it... but it's weird. It also got very very sour... and it wasn't necessarily like a Sour Patch Kid type sour... which is my favorite sour candy... it was more like a hard sour candy... I don't thi...

Sorry for the slight absence recently... I might not post all that frequently this month... sorry. But anyway there was a new frappuccino at starbucks and if you like the Caramel Frap you'll love the Caramel Waffle Cone frap. You know why? It's exactly the same! Lol. So its just a regular Caramel frap, but there are some waffle cone pieces on top of the whipped cream with some caramel. And sure, you don't really get that flavor unless you eat it with your straw or spoon it out after... so the top is just a little different... I think thats great. It just makes it taste a little more ice cream-y and I love coffee ice cream and cones and caramel...so it all works for me. I think this is only limited edition at select Starbucks locations. It isn't the most exciting flavor they've come up with... but sometimes you just need an old fashioned favorite with a little bit of a twist on it. If you wanted to do it yourself, just get a caramel frap crush a waffle cone and...

New Frap you say? Of corse I tried it! I think this is something you can order off the menu... not 100% sure... but it seems easy. I think they always have coconut syrup and they always have mocha... so you can probably get some version of it. The girls at the starbucks were super nice and friendly and the Barrista said that she just made her first one before and it was really good. Never knew Target Starbucks accepted the Starbucks card, but it did! Better than my college Starbucks! Lol. But yeah I was all pumped I thought it was going to be really great, I love coconut so I was excited. And I was not disappointed! This was absolutely delicious. Gloria Jeans has a Mocha Coconut Chiller, so I was expecting it to taste like that... but this had wayyy more mocha in it... which I'm not necessarily saying is better... but thats kind of what I wanted at the time. I was like "I want this to taste a little more chocolatey than the Gloria Jeans" and thats what it was. I f...

So last but not least... the Cinnamon Bun Frap. This one when I read it I was most excited about this possibly... but at the same time... I didn't know if I'd like it best, so I made sure to save this one for last. And this did not disappoint! I thought this was tasty. It was very cinnamon-y a little breakfast-y but... it was yummy.  It might have just been vanilla bean with cinnamon... I feel like there was a lot to this frap. I'm not really sure. It was good. It tasted just like a cinnamon bun! It was pretty amazing. It wasn't like it was the best Cinnamon Bun ever or anything... but it was good. My sister's fiancee makes really good cinnamon buns, so those have kind of ruined all other cinnamon buns to me. I still like the Pillsbury ones... these maybe weren't as good as the pillsbury... but still, this is something you can drink and order at starbucks!  So is this better than Cool Ranch Doritos... I know in my last scribbles about food I mentioned Cotton Candy is a top contender... this is another top contender in my book. This is the most vague and mysterious of all the fraps... it tastes mostly like a caramel frap... but the cocoa cluster makes me like it a lot too. Its really good, although not that different... but in a good way unlike the Cupcake Frap... which I talked my friend out of ordering when I was with her... lol. So this kind of tasted like a Caramel Frap... but there was a little extra. It was a lot smoother than the other fraps I would say and something about the familiarity of the Caramel Frap taste of it, mixed with the exciting "cocoa cluster" of it and the mysterious name just kind of adds to the magicalness of this flavor. Its kind of like a twist on the caramel frap... which I think works really well because the Caramel Frap is the OG. Its amazing, everyone likes it and for good reason. Okay now I've actually tried all the fraps and... this is definitely one of my favorite... I'll let you know in my final Scribbles About Food which one of these wins it for me... Idk if I've even decided yet... but this is a top contender for sure. So this I think has always been a thing on the secret starbucks menu... but now its one of their LTD flavors and it tastes awesome. I believe all it is is a Vanilla Bean with Raspberry Syrup... it tastes like a cotton candy and it is awesome. I think even though it tastes quite a bit like cotton candy, the raspberry is quite present. Like its noticeable that there is raspberry in this frap. Its really good. I happen to like Raspberry a lot and I feel like the flavor is nice and summery and it still has a cotton candy vibe to it... I'm pretty impressed. This isn't something that you can just down a grande of... you need to sip it and keep it for a while. Its wayyy too sweet to just have all at once, you'll probab...

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Heyyy guys! Halfway done with tryin these fraps! This is one of the ones I was more excited about... did it deliver? Welll... This one I was the least impressed with because... it tasted exactly like their Birthday Cake Frap... but it wasn't quite as flavorful. It was just basically a vanilla bean... so of all these so far, this is the most boring. I felt like with the other flavors I've tried, they were doing something wayyy different. The Red Velvet was like a really chocolatey frap, but it got the flavor down RIGHT! The Lemon Bar was 100% on the flavor and it tasted really really good and so so different than any frozen coffee drink I've tried so far.  So those two were really special and this one... is less special. And I know I said it tastes pretty much exactly like the Birthday Cake, but I'm also saying I don't really like it when I really liked the Birthday Cake... well... yeah. Its half cause the birthday cake was limited edition, so that made it real...

This is turning into a Starbucks blog now. Lol. But I need to try all the flavors! So the second of the new flavors that I decided to try was the Red Velvet. This tastes wayyyyy different than I expected it to, whereas with the Lemon Bar, it tasted exactly how I thought it would.  I'm used to red velvet kind of being like Vanilla Cake with Red Dye in it... thats pretty much what most "red velvet cakes" are. There are few exceptions to this (broad street dough co... I'm lookin at you!They have the best Red Velvet Donuts!) This one tastes... very VERY chocolatey. Its almost like a mocha with oreos in it. Really good, but very strong. I don't think the typical frap fan would necessarily like this one because it is actually like coffee.  The frap I would compare this most to is the one that they used to have with the chocolate and the oreos... can't think of the name of it. Mocha Cookie Crumble! This is like a stronger version of the Mocha Cookie Crumb...

Heyyy guys! Exciting news: Starbucks released 6 new Frappucinos and I'm going to have to try them all... but the one that stuck out to me was the Lemon Bar Frap! It seemed the most different to me and I was excited to give this one a try! So my Starbucks is cooler than yours... lol. No but the Barristas are super nice and really good an mine added extra lemonade... so the one I got had a ton of flavor to it! Also she added graham crackers on top, they didn't have the caramel sugar that was supposed to be on top and the graham cracker made it better in my opinion anyway... When I first tasted it it tasted like straight up Lemon meringue pie. It was so amazing! The lemon flavor was really good and it tasted pretty much like I expected it to taste. Which is something like Chick Fil A's Lemon Meringue Pie. I no longer support Chick Fil A... but this was the first experience I had ever had with Lemon Meringue Pie and it was quite tasty. Okay... this is a pretty monumental day... not only are the new S'mores frappuccino's out... but you can drink them through a free cookie straw... Madness. So I was like super super pumped about this because S'mores and frappucino's are 2 of the major Shan Food groups... which is pretty much just the stuff that Michelle Obama tells you not to eat... so yeah. Lol. Anyway I was pretty excited for this. I thought it would taste... mostly like marshmallow and graham crackers with maybe a hint of chocolate... but then my friend texted me and said "hey the new s'mores frap is amazing" and this friend lovesss chocolatey things so I was like "wow this is probably going to be pretty chocolatey." And it absolutely was. It has an amazing marshmallow base and then chocolate syrup and then this chocolately coffe-y flavored drink and then whipped cream and graham crackers on top... its an experience to drink and it does have a sophisticated flavor like C...

OMG guys this exists... and I don't even know how to describe it other than you want it in your life. And its not even like its the most mind-numbingly delicious drink I've ever had... but its pretty frickin amazeballs and you need it in your life. When I drink it I feel like 50 times more adorable because its cute and pink and I can post it on instagram and then people like it... but it isn't just its cuteness that makes it something you need in your life... When I drink it I feel like thats the empty hole in my heart has been filled. Filled with yum and birthday cake and cold and raspberry whipped cream... which HOLY CRAP IT HAS RASPBERRY WHIPPED CREAM! How is this not something you want in your life. And then after its gone... I get kind of sad because thats it. Its over and done with and I can't get another one until Starbucks and I meet again. I guess thats what true love feels like... You know like when they say you just leave a person and you miss them alre...
