Scribbles About Food: Cotton Candy Frappuccino+ My Thoughts on the Mini Frap

Okay now I've actually tried all the fraps and... this is definitely one of my favorite... I'll let you know in my final Scribbles About Food which one of these wins it for me... Idk if I've even decided yet... but this is a top contender for sure.

So this I think has always been a thing on the secret starbucks menu... but now its one of their LTD flavors and it tastes awesome. I believe all it is is a Vanilla Bean with Raspberry Syrup... it tastes like a cotton candy and it is awesome.

I think even though it tastes quite a bit like cotton candy, the raspberry is quite present. Like its noticeable that there is raspberry in this frap. Its really good. I happen to like Raspberry a lot and I feel like the flavor is nice and summery and it still has a cotton candy vibe to it... I'm pretty impressed.

This isn't something that you can just down a grande of... you need to sip it and keep it for a while. Its wayyy too sweet to just have all at once, you'll probably get sick... but I think that I prefer to drink something more slowly in the summer because it does get really hot out and you'll have this for the entire time you're out doing whatever you are doing. If your outside by a pool, at the beach, going for a walk, sitting outside of starbucks, or even just in a hot car... you have a drink to accompany you and cool you down through all of that.

I got this and I also tried this in one of the new Mini Frap sizes... and I've got to be honest here... I thought the mini size was a rip off. Its a little bigger than I expected... but its still tiny and it isn't that much cheaper than the Tall... so If you just want a taste of it... you might as well just get a tall. Its only a little bigger and only a little more expensive. I'll insert an insta of my mini frap next to my friend's Tall Frap. At the bottom. Or here... or somewhere... if I get to it... lol.

Is this better than Cool Ranch Doritos. I think its on par. I don't know if the sophistication is really the same as the complex flavors of Cool Ranch Doritos... actually it is. Because it has the cotton cand flavor... but also the distinctive vanilla bean and raspberry. So yeah. It is as sophisticated as Cool Ranch Doritos and probably better. I know I said I liked this more than the others and I rated them mostly better than Cool Ranch Doritos... but right now I'm really hungry and Cool Ranch Doritos sound more appealing to me than this frap... so that is affecting my vote a little.

Stay Classy!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
