Stuff That Happened This Week (6/29/14-7/5/14)

Note: This is a Scribbles about news from Last Year that I never ended up posting... but I saved it, so I thought why not post it now. This news is outdated... but I had nothing to post today and I thought since this was from last year in this same week... why not post it now.

1) Yahoo picks up Community for Season 6- Guess we will be getting 6 seasons and probably a movie after all! I was really happy about this news obviously. I think its funny that its on Yahoo because I always make fun of my sister for using Yahoo instead of google... but because of this I'm probably going to be paying a little bit more attention to yahoo also. I realize this is a google blog and I'm not going to give up google or anything... but I'll watch Community for SURE! Lol. I'm excited about this. I hope Kugler, Mitch Hurwitz's character returns and yeah. I love it!

2) Better Call Saul has a different timeline than expected- So apparently Better Call Saul will not just be about how Saul Goodman became Saul Goodman, but it will be about the events before Breaking Bad, After Breaking Bad, and During Breaking Bad. So maybe we'll get to see Walter, Gustavo, Jesse, and maybe even Mike again! This is an exciting development. I always thought this spinoff sounded good because Saul's view of the events of Breaking Bad are completely different from Walters and he has different motives. He's such an interesting character because now we will get to see it from his point of view and if he really does end up as a manager at a Cinnabun or not. I also think this is interesting because it definitely shows that it will be completely different from Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad happened within two years, which ensures tragedy for everyone involved. This makes it seem like it might be more of a comedy. Shakespearian Tragedies are different than comedies because they don't have the same time or space that his Comedies allowed for. Since Better Call Saul will be 1) Featuring a Comedian as a main character 2) Takes place over many years and 3) Takes place probably more than just in one small town (with trips to Mexico every now and then). I think this will be a really great show and I am more and more excited about it every time something else is released!

3) Once Upon A Time Casts Anna and Cristoff, but still no Elsa- So I haven't been keeping up on Once Upon a Time even though it is one of my favorite shows, but I'm kind of excited about this new edition. I wasn't a big fan of Frozen, but I wonder how Once will make this a fairytale for Grown-ups. I feel like the story could even be similar to the story of Charming and Snow in season 1... not sure. Maybe they'll do a musical episode. Who knows. This makes me want to start watching the season 2 eps I missed and all of season 3. Idk I'm excited. Maybe its just because of all the TV news.

Also I should say who they cast. Elizabeth Lail will be Anna and "Greek" star Scott Michael will be Cristoff. That's funny that his name is Scott Michael, which is Michael Scott backwards lol.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
