Scribbles About Food: Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino

Ahhh the much-instagrammed Unicorn Frap. Is it worth the hype? Or just a cute instagram picture... Neither... and both lol.

So yes... it was all over Instagram... I have 3 Instagram accounts so I was seeing it everywhere and had lots and really wanted to try it to see if it was worth the hype... It's definitely a "Do it for the gram" drink... which a lot of Starbucks food is... I love getting their sugar cookies because I like posting pictures on Instagram of them... no shame in that!

Anyhoo... The Unicorn Frap! What did it taste like? Would you like it, would you not like it? What's up with it?????

So... it changed flavors every few sips. Some sips were really sweet like a Sweet Tart or something... and that was kind of good but kind of gross... I liked it... but it's weird. It also got very very sour... and it wasn't necessarily like a Sour Patch Kid type sour... which is my favorite sour candy... it was more like a hard sour candy... I don't think I've ever actually tried Warheads... but it kind of reminded me of a Warhead. It was interestingly sour.

I really liked it. I thought it was super unique... I liked that it kept you guessing with the flavor. I thought it looked really really cute. I would probably order it again... but I usually drink Starbucks in the morning and this isn't a good morning drink... so if I'm at Starbucks in the afternoon while this is still available I'll probably order it... if I don't get there in the afternoon and I don't get it again- I won't be super sad... it's not something that's my favorite thing in the world... but I do really like it a lot... and if you're looking for something different, if you're looking for something sour and sweet... this is the drink for you. I loved how surprised I was by every sip. It was a lot of fun. I'll be sticking to my White Mochas... but I'd give this 2 thumbs up... and a better than Doritos rating.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
