Weekly Wrap Up 4.2.17

Favorites

Homemade mini planner thing- This is kind of a weird favorite… but still a favorite nonetheless. I’ll probably go over how I made this little planner in a How To-sday sometime soon… but basically I just have a small little block every day for to do lists… keeping track of my instagram page, my blogs and other things I’d like to do. Plus I’m trying to keep track of what I buy and… it’s just come in handy quite a bit! I’ve been really digging it, I can fit it in just about any purse I have and take it on the go to write in it. It’s really been useful to keep myself organzied. It’s pretty nifty!

Nobodies- This is a great new show that I’ll have a post on in the near future… I don’t think I liked it as much as something like Trial and Error… which is still my favorite on right now… but it is better than something like Powerless or even Superstore… I like those shows a lot too… but this is just really funny. Kind of a dry humor… this one is a lot like Arrested Development… it’s very similar in tone. I just like it a lot. Highly recommend watching it! Lots of famous people. It’s on TV Land and created by Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone. It’s good!

Divide by Ed Sheeran- Still loving this…  it’s been a favorite for a while. I have it as my random favorite on my other blog… but it’s really good I’ve listened to it all March basically… and I’m still not tired of it. It’s a really great cd!

News And World Events

A London Sculptor Sculpted a 45 Pound Cheese sculpture of Beyonce… there is a god.

Beyonce is also the top pick to voice Nala in The Lion King… I’m skeptical about this one because it is so early and oftentimes early picks aren't necessarily what they go with. Also… she’s not really my choice. I would love it to be the Tony Award Winning actress Renee Ellise Goldsberry… I think I saw her on a Broadway tv show saying that she played Nala on Broadway and it was a very challenging role for her. She also played Angelica Schuyler… so Obviously I love her. But… yeah. Interesting.

Noteworthy Snacks

Cannoli Chips… those are good. And my neighbor got us really good fruit candies from Florida… it’s good.

Oh and Dove Caramels. So so good!

Music

Ed Sheeran Strikes again! I’m going to go with Perfect this week!

Quotes

“Baby, I'm dancing in the dark, with you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song
When I saw you in that dress, looking so beautiful
I don't deserve this, darling, you look perfect tonight” - Perfect by Ed Sheeran

Thoughts
I got pretty organized this week with my instagram and blog… and it’s been helpful. It feels a little like it’s less work even though it kind of takes more time.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
