Weekly Wrap Up 4.9.17

Favorites

Chobani Flips Cinnabun Fun- I’ve been loving Chobani Flips lately… this one is by far the best! I really like it! I’ve been doing reviews of the Chobani Flips on my Instagram, @shannonsface- so you could check out what I think of some other Chobani Flips There… maybe I’ll do a ranking or something!

Planning Videos and Instagrams- I’ve been randomly obsessed with planners for the past few days… idk if I’ll become a planner person and actually invest in all the cutesy planner things… I don’t have too much to plan and I’m not a big fan of craft stores… but they do have Hamilton ones… which makes me want it lol. My favorite people to watch on youtube are Leslie Johnson and Zoreen’s Designs… I’ll link their channels below!

News and World Events

Actor Don Rickles passed away… for me I know him best as Mr. Potato Head… which believe it or not- he was actually nominated for an Emmy for playing… which is impressive. He also had a sandwich platter named after him… which is pretty cool as well!

The cutest news this week was a little girl who went to a doll shop and chose a doll that had a different skin color than she did… the girl was white the doll was black… but the little girl didn’t see that! When asked if she wanted a doll that looked more like her she said she did look like her! The doll was a doctor and she was a doctor (wanted to be a doctor) and the doll was pretty like she’s pretty! So that is great! If I can find the exact story I’ll try to put it in the Clickables!

Noteworthy Snacks

Have I mentioned my obsession with Chobani Flips? The S’mores Flavor is great too… but the Cinnabun fun is the best!

Dove Truffle Eggs… get them. They are chocolate and they are amazing!

Music

This is going to surprise you… The Hamilton Soundtrack. I was singing Alexander Hamilton earlier… and I started listening to it again… you really cannot beat it!

Quotes

Hamilton wrote the Other 51!”

Thoughts
Just do what makes you happy… I think I’m going to try writing more Blog posts that just make me happy!

Clickables

Everything is Awesome! - had this stuck in my head this week!

Build A Burrito and We’ll Tell You What Disney Character is Your Soulmate - I got Anna! I picked out basically the most unhealthy burrito possible... I think Anna is the girl for that and we could probably be BFFs!

Zoreen’s Designs - She's super good and super nice. She does a lot of DIY's and she does a Dollar Tree Haul once a week!

Leslie Johnson - She's also super nice and does Plan With Me's once a week and a lot of planner unboxings, hauls and other things throughout the week. She just had a huge planner haul that was awesome!

NBC’s story about the post - I wanted to post both of these stories because the NBC story sounded very much against the Target employee that waited on the girl with the doll... and I just wanted to show the real story first... but still linked this in case anyone didn't have Facebook and the Facebook post didn't work... the Target employee should have minded her business IMHO... the girl and the mom were super happy!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
