Weekly Wrap Up 4.23.17

Favorites

Life in Pieces- They just put the first season of this show on Netflix! I’m excited! If you’ve been following this blog for a while, I didn’t like the show when I first saw it… so I didn’t watch most of the first season. After that it became one of my favorite shows that I watch over and over again… so I’m super happy to watch it from the beginning now!

Bullet Journal- Trying to get my life together… so I made a more fancy planner… and I’ll probably share more about it when I do it more often. It’s fun and a fun way to plan and get things together.

News And World Events

I know a lot of stuff happened this week… all I’ve heard about is Aaron Hernandez… and that pisses me off. So… yeah.

Here’s some funny news… a radio shack just closed… a lot are closing right now… but this one in Reynoldsberg Ohio is making news for telling off it’s customers in a Facebook post… and it’s kind of hilarious. I would not recommend doing that at all… but it was funny. I’ll have a link in the clickables… strong language warning though.

I didn’t post last week… so I never got to talk about the Star Wars Trailer… that was pretty awesome!

Noteworthy Snacks
I haven’t tried the Unicorn Frap yet… but I feel like that needs to be mentioned here. If I tried it before it goes away… there will be a Scribbles About Food on this I’m sure!

Music
It was a Sh*t Show from Crazy Ex Girlfriend… its been stuck in my head all week!

Quotes

“And when you speak, my knees get weak
I can’t believe what I’m sacrificing
But let’s get real, we know the deal
So darling let’s not tip-toe
This thing we had was not just bad, it was a sh*t show” - Crazy Ex Girlfriend

Thoughts
I was going to mention this in Scribbles… I don’t think I did- but there was this episode of So Weird that basically is responsible for my indecisiveness. So Weird was Disney Channel’s (sub par) response to Are You Afraid of The Dark. They had an episode about parallel universes and in the show the main character chooses what juice she wants to drink in the morning… and that effects the rest of her life…not just her day. In one timeline she spills the juice… and any time I spill something I think “Ohhh wow… maybe that wouldn’t have happened if I had gotten something different.” and it’s just funny to think of. After re-watching it I realized… it wasn’t that good lol. It’s funny how scary something is when your a kid and then as an adult it’s like “well that was lame.” But that’s kind of what happened.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
