Scribbles About Food: Starbucks S'mores Frap

Okay... this is a pretty monumental day... not only are the new S'mores frappuccino's out... but you can drink them through a free cookie straw... Madness.

So I was like super super pumped about this because S'mores and frappucino's are 2 of the major Shan Food groups... which is pretty much just the stuff that Michelle Obama tells you not to eat... so yeah. Lol. Anyway I was pretty excited for this.

I thought it would taste... mostly like marshmallow and graham crackers with maybe a hint of chocolate... but then my friend texted me and said "hey the new s'mores frap is amazing" and this friend lovesss chocolatey things so I was like "wow this is probably going to be pretty chocolatey."

And it absolutely was. It has an amazing marshmallow base and then chocolate syrup and then this chocolately coffe-y flavored drink and then whipped cream and graham crackers on top... its an experience to drink and it does have a sophisticated flavor like Cool Ranch Doritos.

I'm not a major fan of extremely extremely chocolatey things... so it isn't my favorite drink that Starbucks has ever come out with... its a little too chocolatey for me... especially in a grande. In a Tall or without the cookie straw I could probably handle it a little better... but its just a bit much. I thought that the first time I got the Birthday Cake... but I still wanted the Grande... but yeah. Its a bit too much for me. Like if you like to have your fraps' in the morning... which a lot of people don't but... those people aren't me... this might be too much for you.

And don't drink it too fast cause I was too excited to eat the cookie so I drank the whole thing super fast... and then I felt sick.

You also will probably need to counteract it with some water or something salty. I had Cool Ranch Doritos for lunch and that worked. Lol. I'm a big fan of cool ranch doritos.

And the big question here is of corse are these better than Cool Ranch Doritos... I'd say yes. The flavor is very sophisticated... probably more so than Cool Ranch Doritos and along with the cookie it is quite tasty... but it is a whole lot.

So yeah! Also sorry I'm kind of neglecting this blog a little bit... I'm kinda busy and probably will be this whole month with graduation and stuff like that. I'm posting a lot on my beauty blog because thats just a little easier to be like "ohhh heres a thing this is what I like about it. This is what I don't like about it." kinda thing... and this is just a little bit harder for some reason lol. I feel like pretty soon I'll be in the mindset to post a little more frequently on here.

I also teased a Grey's Anatomy fan-fic type of post about McDreamy and some other characters from tv shows that have died. That is finished and I think I'm going to post it Thursday or Friday because I want it to coincide with the Grey's finale. I think that will be fun.

Let me know what you think of this Starbucks frap. I would definitely order it a few thousand more times... lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
