Scribbles about TV: End of March/Start of April

I feel like I didn't watch a ton of TV this week. A lot of my favorite shows just ended or had a series finale... but yeah.

Sunday I think I watched Once Upon A Time, I need to catch up a little bit on that, which I can do soon cause I only missed a few episodes and I think its not going to be on for a couple of weeks I think. I also watched my favorite show currently on Television television, The Last Man On Earth. Cannot stress how brilliant this show is. If you haven't seen it yet, it is a MUST see! Will Forte is brilliant and the rest of the cast is amazing too. Its a small cast obviously, its called The Last Man on Earth... but everyone on it is brilliant. Its incredibly well written and I just love it.

Monday I watched Two Broke Girls, which I don't always watch. Its pretty funny though. I used to love this show, but it kind of got on the back burner... sometimes the jokes are a little repetitive. Its cute though and fun to watch, so I like that. Missed Saul on Monday and I don't think Jane the Virgin was on. So yeah.

I watched the last episode of Broad City this week. It was really funny and amazing. I also started to watch the last episodes of Man Seeking Woman... but I keep seeing it at like 4 am and then I'm like "ohhh I should get to sleep." So I've really been watching it in installments. Lol. Still funny.

I watched Fallon, Seth Meyers and Carson Daily... I actually like Carson Daily's show. I pretty much only watch the profile and only if someone I know or think is interesting is on... or if I can't find the remote lol. Becki Newton was on this week, I like her. Christina Ricci was on and she's cool.

New Girl was good this week. We got to meet Schmidt's mom... it was relatable. I liked it. I watched Weird Loners after that and I have a review on that. It wasn't good or bad really. I think its going places, but the pilot didn't wow me.

Modern Family was funny this week. The Middle, The Goldbergs and Blackish I was like half watching, but they were still good.

I barely paid attention to Grey's Anatomy or Scandal.. I need to go back and watch all of Scandal cause idk whats going on. Not a bad idea to do with Grey's either.

Flight of The Conchords has been my love this week! I talk about it all the time, but it is one of the best shows ever so watch it.

I watched The Grace Helbig show... I'm going to do a review of that tomorrow.

And I think thats it. I still need to catch up on a bunch of shows, so that will be what I am doing as of late and... yeah. I think thats it.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
