Angela's Bath and Body Works Candle Rant

Lol so I completely forgot to post today... my bad. I wanted to do a woman crush wednesday... but it just escaped me. I blame hot dogs, cheese fries, chicken fingers and shopping... mostly shopping... which I shouldn't be doing at all... anyway...

So I stumbled across this video on youtube that said "I may boycott Bath and Body Works" and I just wanted to see what it was... I figured it was something stupid and fake... but what I saw was amazing.

So this woman from Neenah Wisconsin was apparently crazily stalking Bath and Body works for an Iced Gingerbread and a Winter Candy Apple candle... and she had to go ALL THE WAY TO THE MALL to get it. Ugh. Going places is the worst! Any way she had to go all the way to this store all the way in Appleton! And she had just been to Green Bay and the Osh Kosh outlet mall and she had called every school in her area to see if they had her Winter Candy Apple and her Iced Gingerbread candles and NO ONE HAD THEM! And this store she gave her number to and they said they had the candles and she went there and they thought they had them in an off site location but they didn't have the 3 wick they only had the 4 ounce. ONLY THE 4 OUNCE!!!! WHAT IS SHE SUPPOSED TO BURN THAT FOR WHAT A DAY! Angela is not going to take that! So she said "you know you should give me something for my trouble." Because the business of all retail stores is to give free merchandise to people when they throw tantrums in the store. Thats just good service. For a store that probably isn't the absolute biggest franchise in the country to give free stuff to people being rude. Thats the job!

And it also wasn't like she was just buying these candles. She was exchanging them... So no money would not be made by this transaction in the first place. Which you know, is fine. But I mean... its just kind... really. You weren't even going to buy the candle to begin with, you were just exchanging it. That just irritates me. I mean she didn't use the candles at least... but she was just exchanging them to get the new candles because she didn't want to spend the money on the new ones...

Anyway, idk if this person is real or trolling. I don't think this Angela person even cares that much anymore, she seems like she really doesn't care what anyone thinks... which is pretty cool actually. Lol. But the people working at Bath and Body Works did nothing wrong. Angela was rude, but I mean really she didn't do anything too wrong. Its super frustrating to deal with all these things. I mean shopping with your MOTHER! In Appleton Wisconsin of all places!!!! Lol. But yeah it can be frustrating when you want something and you don't get it.

So that is everything. Hope you enjoyed this or got a laugh out of it or something. Lol. I enjoyed the video. I'd link it... but this is something you should just google yourself and find I think. Lol. There are also parody videos of this. They have something that shows the "actual footage" and the response from Jen the manager. Side note: A lot of store managers are named Jen! Lol. I just find this amusing and I figured I'd post a blog about this.

Byeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
