Woman Crush Wednesday: Julia Louis Dryfuss

1) She's always been funny- As long as I have existed Julia Louis Dryfuss has been one of the funniest people on the planet. There are lots of funny people... but JLD wins at life I think. Seinfeld? Amazing. Probably one of the first really funny women I've ever seen on tv. The New Adventures of Old Christine? Still awesome! It got cancelled too soon and I think its A) kind of a good thing because she's done other things since then and B) If it had actually had a final season with Christine going to college, that would have been the funniest thing ever. I could see it getting repetitive a little bit... but everyone on the show was amazing and it still makes me laugh in repeats. And Veep? Just one of the best shows on tv right now... and I think I'm going to do a whole post on Veep because I didn't used to like it and now I absolutely love it. And I always loved her on it and I just think its really cool that she plays the president now. Lol.

2) The Old Navy Commercials- Seriously Old Navy has been killin it with their commercials lately! And Julia Louis Dryfuss's commercials are awesome! Yeah... thats kind of it. I just like Old Navy better because of her and Amy Poehler... and I already liked it a lot to begin with so...

3) She seems easygoing- It seems like she gets along with everyone from all comedy and drama circles too. On Awards shows her and Amy Poehler always liked to do bits for their acceptance speeches so that they could distract themselves from being nervous about winning. She also seems super cool with pretty much all of her cast-mates. She is awesome on talk shows and they even spelled her name wrong on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and she keeps the misspelled part in her dressing room... thats pretty cool!

4) She's still totally bleepable- Despite Amy Poehler's sketch saying that she celebrated her last day being bleepable... I still totally think she's bleepable. I mean I'm a girl that likes guys, so maybe I'm not the best judge... but yeah. She definitely is and is awesome for being in that sketch that is probably the biggest win for feminism that has ever happened.

And thats it I think... Super funny. I've been a little tired lately and I haven't been pre-writing posts... which I kind of like because then I write honestly but its also a little harder to do and I don't totally feel like saying as much as I could. Is that weird? Tomorrow I might just talk about what I did that day or something like that... cause that is what I originally wanted to do when I very first started blogging... and then I came up with other things to do because I didn't always have something interesting to say/do... so yeah. I may try that... lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
