Scribbles About Life: A Day in the Life of Shannon April 23rd 2015 (Grey's Anatomy+Scandal Spoilers)

So today started pretty normal. My dog scratched on my door early in the morning to wake me up, I stayed out with him for a little bit, then went back to sleep. I woke up a few hours later and then I did stuff. I had a coffee Donut House Chocolate Glazed donut coffee or somethin like that... its awesome. I just got it yesterday and I'm already likin it a lot.

Then my mom came home with a sandwich for me to eat for lunch and we went shopping. Went to The Dollar Tree, which we love and we got solar-powered hoola girls then Harmon. I got make up brushes and the ELF make up lock and seal thingy which was on sale... which is like a primer I guess or like something to make shadows more pigmented or apply better or something... not really sure, but I've heard its good with Colourpop's eyeshadows and I love them and want them to show up as good as possible... so I got that.

Now at Harmon... there was a line. A lonnnnnnnggggg line. It was not the employees fault at all. They were doing there job... there was a woman that was trying to use lots and lots of coupons all at once and they weren't letting her do it and it was holding up the line. And 2 older women in front of me and my mom were complaining about the line as if it was the fault of the employees when it was not. I've been there before... and I made sure to be extra nice to the employee that waited on me cause really the people working there are very nice and helpful and I love that Harmon is really generous with their coupon policy... so that is cool. Reminded me of Angela from Bath and Body Works... lol.

After that madness my mom and I just went to starbucks and chilled a little. She had her new favorite, Cinnamon Dolce Latte and I had the Caramel Flan. We saw a man that looked like Uncle Fester. Not in a bad way though, I didn't get a good look at him but he seemed like a young handsome Uncle Fester... but still Uncle Fester looking lol. The music was nice, the sitting down and just kind of talking and doing nothing was nice. We were relaxed.

We went outside and it was super super windy and it even looked like it was raining a bit. We went to Target and got towels and shaving cream and razors and then picked up my grandfather for dinner. And it looked like it hailed.

I wrote my blog post on my other blog, which I'm actually kind of proud of because its sort of a professional looking review. Lol. I'll link it here it is a review of Elf's skincare line that I've tried so far. I give as much information as I can and its not sponsored or anything, just my humble opinion of why I like these products and some other useful info.

And then I ate dinner, we had rib's that we got from a local deli and catering place called Dan's Deli. If you live in the central NJ Area, I highly highly recommend. He does a pot luck dinner every thursday night and its awesome.

And then I watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune... and then Grey's Anatomy... SPOILERS.

I knew that Derrick was going to die in this episode... I know TV really really well, I'm a writer and nothing ever really shocks me... but Shondaland shows never have me going "I knew that was going to happen the exact way that it happened." Because it just doesn't. It was really powerful and the fact that it could have been prevented and it didn't. I was crying. It was sad.

Then Scandal was on and I can't even keep track of whether or not Jake is dead... and I was barely focusing because of Grey's Anatomy... then American Crime which I watched even though I'm not caught up on because Spencer was on my lap and I didn't want to move because he was being so cute and so good. So I watched it, but kinda like half watched and it was crazy and I was just on the edge of my seat for like 3 hours because of all these shows and its just... so much stuff.

I also ate a really good donut when I watched Scandal. It was from Broad Street Dough Co... another local Central Jersey treat... and yeah. Ohhh and I had a Butter Toffee k-cup from Gloria Jeans earlier that night too... so 3 coffee day lol.... but I'll be up all night with Grey's Anatomy Feels anyway so it doesn't matter.

And Now I'm probably going to watch Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers and then Veep. I'm on the current season and I want to catch up before Sunday... and I should maybe re-watch and catch up on Silicon Valley too. Or at least watch the finale cause I like that too...

So my question of the day... What Tv Characters Death was the saddest for you? I think for me Derrick was pretty sad but it was so cheesy at parts I knew it...

The actual saddest though are probably the deaths on the Wire. Specifically... totally blanking on the name, but Michael B. Jordan's Character. Wallace! And Omar... and Stringer Bell... man Omar Little is amazing his death really shocked me. Yeah those were sad.

Anyways that is it. Let me know what Tv Character had the saddest death... and that is it!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
