Scribbles About Food: Mocha Coconut Frappuccino

New Frap you say? Of corse I tried it!

I think this is something you can order off the menu... not 100% sure... but it seems easy. I think they always have coconut syrup and they always have mocha... so you can probably get some version of it.

The girls at the starbucks were super nice and friendly and the Barrista said that she just made her first one before and it was really good. Never knew Target Starbucks accepted the Starbucks card, but it did! Better than my college Starbucks! Lol. But yeah I was all pumped I thought it was going to be really great, I love coconut so I was excited.

And I was not disappointed! This was absolutely delicious. Gloria Jeans has a Mocha Coconut Chiller, so I was expecting it to taste like that... but this had wayyy more mocha in it... which I'm not necessarily saying is better... but thats kind of what I wanted at the time. I was like "I want this to taste a little more chocolatey than the Gloria Jeans" and thats what it was.

I feel like my favorite thing on like any coconut coffee drink is the whipped cream with the toasted coconut on top... theres something so yummy about the combo. The smoothness of the whipped cream with the slight crunch and coconut flavor of the coconut... its just amazing.

If you don't like coconut, you aren't going to like this. Coconut is one of those things you either love or you hate. I've never met anyone that was on the fence with coconut. Everyone I know either loves it... or hates it... but I don't think I know anyone that hates it. I'm pretty sure every person I know likes coconut... and I think now I'm going to ask everyone I know next time I see them if they like coconut or not. And if they say not, I'll say "Coco-NOT" and then I'll laugh to myself as they stare blankly at me wondering why we're friends. It'll be fun.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
