Weekly Faves+ Thoughts and plans

So I may be kind of MIA this week on Scribbles about Life... its going to be a kind of busy week for me. I do a weekly favorites for my beauty blog, but there are so many things I've been liking that are non beauty related... why not share the love here?

I did a Costco Food Haul recently, and the Peanut Butter Snappers are... the best thing in the entire universe. Its a pretzel that has chocolate and peanut butter... and maybe caramel... I think there is just a big dollup of peanut butter on it. It just tastes amazing. They aren't the healthiest option, but 3 are 200 calories... so if you can limit yourself to 3 or less... not too bad. I'm kind of trying to be healthy, but these exist and they're fantastic. If they had nutella snappers... ohhh man. That'd be the best!

Also the Snapple Lady Liber-tea is sooo good. Its red raspberry, white peach and blueberry... I love Peach Iced Tea and I love Raspberry iced tea and combined... its such a unique yummy flavor. And then add blueberries and its just really great. Drinking these now.

I also went to a restaurant called Chillango's I believe its called. Its in Atlantic Highlands I believe, so if you're taking a boat from NY to NJ, its not too far from that... its such a good place and today they were celebrating "Cinco de Donald" to Mock Donald Trump for his racist remarks against mexican immigrants. I went for lunch, so idk if there was a big celebration or anything, there was a local news van outside, so I think there's a story on that... which I'll post if I can find because that just sounds awesome. Anyway I got a hawaiin quesadilla from there which had ham and pineapples... it was awesome. The pineapples were so sweet and delicious and full... I just loved it.

I feel like I could definitely continue with food favorites, but here are some shows I've been watching this week. I just brought out my old X Files Dvds and I watched the first episode of that. I want to prepare for the new show and I really like it. I'm not sure if my sister's dvd player was having a problem or if my dvds are just old or something, but the picture was in black and white and then it split... weirdly. So idk what that's about... if you have old X Files Dvds, do you notice this? I may try playing it on my computer... but I'm having trouble with this computer too... so thats a double suck. Lol. I know Kumail Nanjiani has a podcast about the x files called: The X Files Files, so I'm finally re-watching so that I can re-listen and thats exciting.

Yesterday I also watched Flea Market Flip... which is the best and most frustrating show ever to watch and its also amazing. Basically these people find old antique things at flea markets that look really cool and different... then they renovate them and kind of ruin them in my opinion and its hillarious to watch.. and sad and interesting. Sometimes they make cool stuff... most of the time its super ugly. They made a Hungarian Baby Bathtub into a coffee table... with fish inside of it... What? It was so weird so hideous and yet they made money on it... so its insane.

Also been rewatching one of my favorite web series, Burning Love. This show is so funny. There are 3 seasons, all season are on Hulu plus I believe and I think the third season is on for free on yahoo screen. It's funny, if you like the bachelor or the bachelorette or unreal... It's along those lines, but it's a comedy. The second season is "the bachelorette" season and it's spot on how the bachelorette is. It's sooo soo good!

For apps... I've rediscovered the app Tree World... Which was a horrible mistake because it consumes my life now and it's so sooo stupid. It's along the lines of FarmVille sort of. Basically you take care of animals that live on a tree... It's a little insane. But it's amazing and I'm going to be in love with it for the next few months at least...

So yeah that's it... Tomorrow (Monday I think I'm posting this on Monday now) and Tuesday I have some fun things I'm doing, maybe I'll just blog about my day or something... Idk what I'm really doing tomorrow... But I might do some exploring or shopping or something fun lol :).

Byeeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
