Man Crush Monday: Seth Meyers

1) He's a good host- He always seems genuinely interested in all of his guests... which is something I don't think a lot of hosts really are. I feel like he just likes talking to people and he's really good at it and I just like him.

2) He's kept his SNL Friends- Its rare to hear of someone being in an SNL cast and not still being friends with other cast members that were on during the same run, or even older cast members and newer cast members... so I guess it isn't really a huge deal or anything that he's still friends with everyone, but its really cute. I love that Amy Poehler was the first guest on his show and he wrote a chapter in her book. I love that Fred Armisan is his band leader and I love seeing their banter every night. And I love whenever he and Bill Hader are in a room together pretty much... well not Bill Hader, Stephon... but still. lol.

And also a few weeks ago they showed a video of Will Forte making a speech at Seth's wedding in character... it was really funny. I don't really remember the character, but it was just so good and so funny and he said he was even worse at Andy Samberg's wedding... so that is cool. Lol.

3) He seems like a great friend- Seth Meyers actually seems like a really nice person. Again... I mostly think of this because of his chapter in Amy Poehler's book... but he's been really good to her in all of her success and with her becoming such a big star and she's been good for his rise to stardom too. I like that they both really believe in each other and they support each other and its just super nice and they're good people. Lol.

4) He has a lot of people I don't know on his show- Idk if this is actually him or not that decides these people on the show, but I've heard a lot of bands I've never heard before from his show and I've seen a lot of comedians that are slightly lesser known I feel like on his show and on Fallon... which is something that's kind of been absent in Late Night shows for a long time. Lots of people have been discovered on Johnny Carson back in the day, and I'm happy that Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers are bringing it back. At Midnight is another great show for that because you can actually see people that maybe you've seen in movies or on tv... but maybe you didn't know and see how they are live. Its very interesting in my opinion and I'm just happy about it.

5) His laugh- I love when he breaks during his monologues and sometimes he can't even get through them without laughing. Its just really funny.

So yeah, those are some cool things about Seth Meyers that I like... yeahhhh.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
