Throwback Thursday: Games

So when its cold outside, I don't really love going out... and a lot of times I'll just stay home, listen to podcasts and play games on the computer. And There is always a bit of nostalgia because I don't play these gams often but yeah.

First off the big throwbacks are the Disney Channel Games that I pretty much grew up with as a kid. I started playing the game 625 Sandwich Stacker because at the time I'd been playing a lot of Sky Burger, which I mentioned in my January It List I believe... anyway I started playing this again... and its fun but it isn't that interesting. Its maybe a little harder than Sky Burger because you can't stack things up too high, but its also super easy to just make a really small sandwich, get a few points and then just move to the next round, so I kind of like that Sky Burger forces you to make certain kinds of burgers. Its still really fun though, its cute and it brings back fond memories.

I also played some Kim Possible games. I started off with Bueno Rufus... which is an incredibly stressful game to me. Its like you work at a fast food place and you have to get a certain number of orders ready and it gets really hard when they give you two things because they're fast and far apart. And then I think of all the customers getting the wrong order and they must be really sad... another thing i dislike about Sky Burger lol. Very sad. At least in 625 Sandwich Stacker, you're just making your own sandwich. You have some control. Lol.

Most recently I've really been liking Minion Rush. They did some updates to it recently that I wasn't really all that fond of... but i've gotten more used to it and I'm playing it quite a bit now and I've really been liking it. Its fun and addictive.

I've also been liking some word games. I started playing flower garden and text twist and now i'm playing bookwork, which is probably more well known. Idk its just fun. I always feel so stupid because my words are so short. Lol.

And I used to really like Burger Shop 2, which is the same sort of concept as Bueno Rufus, but not quite as stressful. You need to make the food for customers and sometimes they get angry and leave and sometimes they are more patient. Fun game, good to play on cold days...

And not a lot, but I have been playing some of an ipad app called "all in one solitaire, which just has a bunch of solitaire games. My favorites are Penguin, Gaps, Accordian, and Crescent. Its not easy to win any of these, but they're still fun to play.

So that is everything! Hope everyone is having a fun Throwback Thursday. Do you play any of these games? Let me know!

Byeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
