Heyyyy guys...
So I was cleaning up my room and I found a game I have called Rory's story cubes which is the best creative game ever. It's just ther different cubes with different pictures on them and you need to come up with a story for those pictures. I'm going to roll the dice and tell a story.... But I'll take a picture of all the dice together and insert that here... PS... I wrote this like a year ago, never posted it and never took the pics... so this is a little weird lol.
Okay here we go.
Once upon a time there was a princess named Isabelle. Isabelle was not your normal princess because (rolls dice) instead of a castle, she lived inside of a book. Her book was in a library also with many other books, and when no one was reading her book, Isabelle would travel into other worlds. She loved it! She could go from the world of Jane Eyre to Harry Potter. She had fought in The Hunger Games and kissed Romeo. She met Holden Caufield, and yes, he is as crazy as he seems.
One day she stumbled upon a very different book. This book was about (rolls dice) sad people. It made Isabelle very sad that all of the characters in this book were so very sad. One day she asked why they were so sad and they replied that it was because of (rolls dice) a locked room.
Isabelle was curious. What was inside that room that kept these people from being happy? What was missing in their town that made them so sad. The woman in town said that she couldn't even remember, but she knew it had something to do with (rolls dice) flowers.
"I know what's in that room," said a strange and handsome man in the shadows. Isabelle looked at him with amazement.
"What is it," she asked.
" The flower was enchanted by a kind witch. She said that once it bloomed, the whole town would be filled with as much happy cheerfulness as it could possibly handle. Her sister was not as good a witch as the kind witch, and in a jealous rage she stole the flower and kept it inside of that room so that it would die and cause unhappiness in the whole town."
"That's terrible, " Isabelle said, astonished. "So I guess it died in there?"
"That I'm not so sure about," the handsome man said "some people say that the good witch put a spell on the flower so that it would never die, and that her sister was not a good enough witch to break that spell."
"How do you know all of that," Isabelle asked. She did not know what to believe.
"I know it because (rolls dice) a judge told me it. He's the judge of the town's fairness and equal-ness. He says that the town itself was made so that good and evil witches would balance each other out."
"We need to figure out how to get into the room," Isabelle said. "Do you have any idea how?"
"I think what you have to do is (rolls dice) think of it on your own. Once the lightbulb goes off in your head let me know and I'll help out."
Isabelle was thinking and thinking all day until she finally came up with her brilliant idea. "I've got it
Handsome Man," she said... A little embarrassed that her crush had been found out and that she didn't know his name.
The Handsome man laughed " My name is Chet. So what is this brilliant idea you have Princess!"
"We just have to (rolls dice) get a turtle to help us!"
Çhet was flabbergasted. "How is a turtle supposed to help us?"
"He's small enough to get in the door and he's slow. So if the fastness of the flowers decay would be balanced by his slowness. Right?"
That sort of made sense. Isabelle ran over to The tortoise and the hare's book and grabbed the turtle from there. Then she, Chet and the turtle went into the room.
The locked room was filled with (rolls dice) rainbows. Which seemed strange to Isabelle at first, but then she realized that it was to balance out the unhappiness of the curse. Chet grabbed the flower and put it on the turtles back. It was clear that the flower had been dead long ago, but they saw the nice witch in the room also.
"It just needs," the witch said, weakly (rolls dice) " to travel the world. It needs to live a little before it is planted at town square."
Isabelle and Chet new exactly how to get the flower to see the world. They traveled through every book in the library. They saw all of our world and several other worlds as well and the flower went along with them, becoming more alive through each book in each world. It finally came alive to its fullest when Isabelle and Chet got married in Town Square in front of the whole town, and all of their favorite characters from other books... Except Game of Thrones because weddings end badly in Westeros.
And the flower stayed full in town square and gave happiness to everyone in the town forever.
The end!
- this was fun. I had to leave right before rolling the last dice, and I didn't even know how it ended up, also I guess it's die and not dice... Or is that plural? I don't like the word die, so I just used dice. And if you liked that, you should check out my new blog Tales From A Strange Town that I've just started writing on. It's a fictional story about a girl that is stuck in a strange town... It had influences from absurd comedy like Community, Parks and Rec, Nightvale and Comedy Bang Bang... So if you like those you may dig this. The link is right Here and I'd love for you to check it out!
....and I don't have anything posted on that blog yet... so I should probably get on that... like I said, I never ended up posting this and it was a quite a while ago that I wrote this... so yeah. Scribbles about news will be tomorrow. Lol.
Byeeeee!
