Scribbles About food: More Pumpkin/ Fall Stuff!

So I've tried a few more pumpkin and apple flavored candies and I wanted to kind of give little mini reviews of what I thought of these treats. Some of these I may have reviewed already... some I may have mentioned in a Weekly Wrap Up... but they are all delicious and I felt like mentioning them.

1) Candy Apple Twizzlers- When you open these up they smell really really sour... but then they have a really nice apple flavor on the twizzler and the caramel on the inside is such a good texture for it and its so sweet and just really nice. This is a great flavor combo and I really like these. Highly recommend trying them!

2) Caramel Apple Oreos- I feel like I might have mentioned these in another Scribble About food... but these are also really delicious. These really got the flavor down for the caramel apple part. It tastes so good. One of my favorite seasonal oreos that they have. Really flavorful, sweet and just good.

3) Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice K Cups- Ohhh my gosh these are delicious! They aren't a Pumpkin Spice Latte... but they have such a good pumpkin spice flavor that I really think anyone will enjoy them. Its sweet but has a nice cinnamony pumpkiny flavor. This is the kind of thing I like in my Pumpkin Spice and they did it right.

4) Pumpkin Spice Marshmallow filled Russell Stover Chocolates- I really like the marshmallow cream filled Russell Stover candies. The Strawberry Cream hearts are amazing. These are also great. They don't have such a pumpkin flavor that it takes away from the chocolate, but it isn't a subtle flavor that you can barely taste. I really enjoy these and they definitely get the seal of approval from me here. If you're going to try one candy from this review... try these... but I did save the absolute best for last.

5) Trader Joes Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter- Ohhh my gosh! I LOOOOOVEEEE cookie butter and I love Speckulous and the combination of cookie butter and pumpkin spice... mind blowing. Absolutely amazing. The texture is nice and crunchy. It tastes good on Graham Crackers... but to me it tastes best on a spoon... lol. Yes. This is really good. My sister got me some... and I really really dig it! This is the only thing I've ever tried from Trader Joe's! We don't have many around the Jersey area, so this was exciting to me!

So that is it. Let me know which pumpkin or apple things you've tried and if you like it or not... I know Pumpkin Spice isn't cool anymore... I don't care though. I love it and I genuinely love fall and... yeah. That's it!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
