Shannon Goes Viral: Pizza Rat, Broad City Sketch and More

Haven't done one of these in a while... but after Pizza Rat... this seemed necessary.

Pizza Rat- I'm sure everyone is tired of this by now but... Pizza Rat. So this rat on the subway just grabbed a whole pizza and just went for it. He didn't succeed... which is a downfall. I would have loved to watch the little guy eat that entire slice of pizza. This has raised some health concerns for the subway system... for obvious reasons... but I feel like it should be made into a motivational poster. If that rat can make it that far with the entire slice of Pizza, you can make it pretty far in life to. Farther than even a hungry subway rat!

I give this video 4 out of 5 pepperoni's... cause really it is kinda sad he didn't get it. It's like Rocky losing or something... it's just disappointing.

Broad City Sketch- So the ladies of Broad City made a brilliant sketch about the struggles of fasting for Yom Kippur and it was pretty much the funniest thing I've seen since the Broad City finale. Its pretty amazing. The girls talk about all the bad stuff they're repenting for and eventually realize, they're just going to have to repent if they let a perfectly good bacon, egg and cheese go to waste... so maybe they should just eat it... Lol. Not to spoil it... I pretty much left out all the funny stuff. Check it out here. I'm giving it 5 out of 5 Bacon Egg and Cheese McMuffins because... it was funny enough to at least kind of hold me over till the next season in 2016... I mean we don't have to entirely fast from Broad City cause we have this now.

"Someone made a life decision" meme- So there is a series of memes where people put one thing down at the grocery store by something that doesn't belong there... like the vegetables were in their cart, but they decided to get a candy bar instead. I saw this meme on Smosh or buzzfeed showing the best "life decision" memes... I think they're kind of a lazy meme... gotta say. Its super easy to see it and no ones captions are anything that funny other than "someone made an important life decision" or "someone made the right call" and that just seems... simple to me. Its funny if you see it on Instagram or something... seeing them all together in the "best of" memes isn't that good. Didn't like it much. I'd give it 2 and a half candy bars out of 5 vegetables. Side note: I did this the other day. I put oatmeal near... something that wasn't oatmeal lol. I realized we already had oatmeal and I just stuck it near the cookies or something... so that was funny.

Jessica Jones Trailer- I know I either just posted a trailer reviews or I'm going to post one soon... I dug this! I love Netflix shows and I've been loving Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and this looks funny and exciting. I like the actress playing Jessica Jones, Krysten Ritter I believe is how she spells it... either way you guys know who I mean. From Breaking Bad and Don't Trust The B-... She's great and this is exciting to see her in a new series. Looks funny! I haven't seen Daredevil yet... but I will before this comes out! I give it 4 out of 5 S.H.I.E.L.D badges!

Baby Lion Learns to Roar- This is the cutest video! I remember seeing it a little while ago, but its gaining some popularity again and I just saw it on the news. There's a video of a baby lion that has surfaced and it shows him making a tiny little sound like its his first roar... and it is absolutely adorable! I give it a million stars. Its one of the best videos you can watch... it is just adorable and he's probably a big ferocious lion right now! Lol. Its such a cute video though!

And that's it! Hope you guys like these! I love the internet, so I'll keep doing these every once and a while.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
