Favorites

Pumpkin Spice Latte- I'm ready for Halloween now... lol. The PSL is back and it is really delicious! I'm working on my 4th one as we speak. I've had one iced and the rest hot... even though its been pretty hot out this week. I'm just a fan. I'm excited to try the Mexican Hot Chocolate-type drink!

Stuart the Minion- I love the Build a Bear minions, and as you might know, I built another one last week and he's just as cute and cuddly as the others! Yes... I cuddle minions when I go to bed... It's been more comfortable to me lately and comforting... and I'm happy to have Stuart now too. I know... its a silly thing for a grown woman to have as a favorite... but you know I love minions and cartoons... so I love him!

Life Scribbles
-Monday I didn't do too much but I was in a pretty good mood. I had a good starbucks. Good dinner, my cousin got Prailenes from New Orleans and I had one of those... just one of those it shouldn't have been a good day but everyone seemed to be in a good mood and I was in a good mood... so it was good. Maybe I just had a good weekend and that's what I needed to recharge or whatever... I dunno! Not gonna question it too much.
-Tuesday I had tacos and they were delicious
- Wednesday I didn't feel that good... slightly unrelated to tacos... but I felt better later and made nachos and I was ok.
-Thursday I went to the Alex and Ani store and had my first and second PSL of the season.
-Friday I went out to dinner with my family and friends and that was good.
- Saturday I didn't feel well and stayed in bed most of the day and watched The Office and The Incredibles... Which I will have a Throwback Thursday on in the kind of distant future.

TV Highlights
I caught up on American Gothic! Which I really like how its going. I think it is a good show... and although I stick to my initial review saying the writing wasn't great and some of the costume choices are just odd... I really enjoy it!

Noteworthy Snacks
PSL

Nachos

Pumpkin Spice Keebler Stripes cookies

Pumpkin Spice Cheerios...

News and World Events
Anthony Weiner is involved in another "sexting" scandal and his wife is now separating from him because of it. Don't blame her, Weiner seems like an extremely self destructive crazy person... who is probably not a bad politician... but he's so self involved that he'll never have any position in office. And that's kind of a tragedy. I really don't know much about his politics... so maybe he was bad anyway... but still. Good or bad... sad situation. I really want to see that documentary about him it sounds really interesting.

Also I reread that and didn't have sexting in quotes and I was like "okay... this looks ridiculous. I'm just going to put that in quotes."

Gene Wilder passed away this week at the age of 83. Wilder is known for Willy Wonka, Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein and he will be missed dearly by his beloved fans.

The Comedy Central roast of Rob Lowe was filmed this week and for some reason Anne Coulter, Jewel and Peyton Manning were all there... and none of them like Anne Coulter... so that should be interesting I guess... I'm weird with Roasts. I don't always get roasts because a lot of times they're very uncomfortable and usually they have people that aren't comedians doing comedy... so I don't want to say I dislike them at all... I love Jeff Ross and I thought the James Franco Roast was one of my favorite Comedy Central Specials... but it isn't always my thing I guess.

There have been clown sightings in South Carolina that are scary. Usually these are hoaxes... but according to some headlines they are going after kids... so be especially careful with your children if you live in South Carolina. Or just in general... there are too many dangers in the world.

Amy Schumer was heckled on stage by a man that wanted her to take her clothes off... and she shut him down. She roasted him onstage... I'm guessing she said to show the audience his thing and she gave him one chance to sit down and enjoy the show before throwing him out... and she threw him out. I've seen Amy Schumer live before... and she wasn't quite heckled but people were shouting things at her and it had nothing to do with her set. Some woman was waving and yelling "Jennifer Lawrence" and "Madonna"... and its like really? If you are in the audience... you aren't a part of the act. If its not something the comedian had planned... they're not really going to talk about it. If they ask "Hey what should I talk about now" then you can shout stuff... that doesn't happen often at professional comedy shows though... so just sit down, shut up and enjoy the show. Comedy Shows are expensive and no one is paying to see a sales man in the audience. Leave it to the professionals... you can go be Michael Scott in your own office!

Thoughts
I'm ready for Halloween! I'm not in a rush... but I'm ready.

Clickables

Walt Disney World Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular - As I said... I'm ready for Halloween and I love Disney... so My Clickables will have a lot of links from The Dis because I thought they did a really good coverage of it.

Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade - I haven't actually watched this yet... but that's what I'm going to watch next.

Happy Hallowishes - The Disney World Fireworks for halloween look amazing!

... There were a lot of videos I really liked this week. Maybe I'll do a whole thing just for videos I liked this week.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Throwback Thursday: Crazy Ex Girlfriend Season 1

One of my favorite shows is the very underrated Crazy Ex Girlfriend... and when I say underrated I mean the ratings are bad... I'm pretty sure there is a lot of critical hype that is very real and worthy of that sort of hype... I honestly didn't watch it live at all this year until the finale... it was all in my DVR... I had lost a little bit of interest to be honest after the first episode... but I bingewatched it all in one day pretty much and it was great... but that's season 2... let's go back to Season 1. If you're only familiar with Season 2... Season 1 isn't quite as dark. It's definitely more silly than Season 2. It isn't like the darkness and the drama isn't there, it just isn't quite as dark. I have a feeling the show is getting progressively darker, and the Season 2 finale was definitely the darkest so far. The show is meant to be a different spin on a Rom-Com. The girl moves across the country for a guy that has a girlfriend alrea...
