Scribbles About Music: Throwback Thursday Edition- I've got a Dark Ally and A Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth

Gosh... these titles are far too long! This is the one song by Fall Out Boy I can honestly say I never liked... and I've liked it a little bit over times to the point where I wasn't skipping the song when I listened to the album... and there are some great lines in this... but ultimately, it's my least favorite Fall Out Boy Song.

I feel like I should compare this... but this is kind of hard. Arrested Development is my favorite show, and I would say that my least favorite episode of that show is still better than any other show on tv... but this is different because I just don't like this song.

And its even more of a let down because its on after my favorite song... and I know last time I did a review I said I didn't think that song really held up as that good... but I still really like it... this one I just don't like. It's just really a downer song and I just don't like it that much compared to other songs... which is funny because its about comparing yourself to other people which is terrible.

This is a song I listen to if I'm really really really sad and just down on myself... because that's what its there for. It doesn't make me feel any better, it just automatically gets stuck in my head when I'm in a bad mood and that makes me like it even less I think. Its just not a favorite of mine. I remember one day in high school specifically when I was having an awful day and this song just popped into my head and it was bad. Its just a downer song... so yeah.

And on that note... I'm just gonna leave it there. I pretty much never seek out to listen to this song and I was going to skip it in the review... but who knows... I could have ended up liking it better... plus this information is important too... you should know when I think something is just bad.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
