What's Up Wednesday: 9.7.16

Today I woke up in an oddly good mood... maybe not "oddly" but I was kind of well rested even though I didn't get a lot of sleep and just in a good mood... so that was good. I did sleep in a little bit after I initially woke up... but yeah.

For Lunch I had some yummy leftover 3-meat baked ziti, which was good. I've had kind of an upset stomach recently... so I ate this with no sour feeling stomach... which was good! I didn't have much of it because I knew I was going to Starbucks later... and that is where this day gets really exciting!

I've been on a quest for the movie Tower of Terror that was part of The Wonderful World of Disney... for years. Like literally I was looking for it when I went on the ride the last time I went to Disney in 2009... so its been a long search. And recently I was browsing Targets website (I'm probably going to buy Lilo and Stitch because I just rewatched it on Netflix and its going away soon) and it said that not only did they have Tower of Terror... but they had it in store! So I went 2 times last week looking for it in the DVD aisle... they didn't have it. And then I was looking in the halloween aisle today and guess what? THEY HAD IT! So I bought that and I also got a picture of a raven from the dollar spot to put by my desk because A) That's funny B) I want to seem like a dark and mysterious writer. Right now I have it on my wall underneath a disco ball with a stuffed Art from Monster's University, and a sign that says Keep Calm and Eat Cupcakes with some minions on it... so maybe I'm not that dark or mysterious.

And we went to the Starbucks inside of Target which is really good and I tried the PSL with Almond Milk... which didn't taste as good as regular milk, but sometimes milk can hurt my stomach and Almond Milk is usually okay... so I might get the almond milk occasionally or just keep getting it and get used to it. It tasted very almondy. I don't think they use the sweetened kind...so that is a bit of a bummer... but maybe I'll get used to it or something. Idk.

Another fun thing we were kinda looking for for a long time was the bones that my dog likes! Which are the Z bones from Zukes! They used to sell them at Pets Mart and Wegmans and they had stopped at both and my dog loved them and he is always so good when he has a bone and he's so proud of himself when he has a bone it is just too cute... and they had big bags! So that ended up being really really good!

Now I'm home... possibly going out later... but I'm not sure. I know what movie I'm watching later... and I think I'm going to read some of Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone also cause I started reading that for a Throwback Thursday that will be in the somewhat distant future. I've got almost all my Throwback Thursdays for the year written and now I'm working on next year... so that is fun!

Hope you all are having a good week!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
