True Test Thursday- L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder.

Okay, this is going to be a new way that I will review products. When I did my Dove Deodorant review, I decided to post it on a Thursday because I have a lot of things going on on Thursdays. I have 3 classes, barely any time to myself... so if something can past the Thursday test it is a truly amazing product. This isn't exactly a first impression, because a lot of times I like to test things RIGHT away so a first impression isn't all that good.

Also this isn't really a new product or anything... but it's new to me so I thought I'd give this a go. I had a $2 off L'oreal coupon and they are definitely one of my favorite drugstore brands and this is something I was interested in so I thought why not?

I tried this for the first time on Sunday Night, and my first impression was that I liked it a lot. I used a primer under it and it was really nice and easy to blend with my fingers. It was more full coverage than my Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream but it looks more natural than the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous foundation.

This was the first time I applied it with a moisturizer, primer and then the foundation itself... and it stung! I don't know why, I think the sunscreen in the moisturizer and the sunscreen in the foundation did not mix well together. It does have a sort of alcohol-y smell so maybe it has to do with that. I don't think this is the best ingredients. The packaging also makes it a little difficult. Without a pump it's easy to use too much of this, but a little bit goes a long way, so really I'd just stick with that. It's like 9 ish that I applied this btw.

Okay... I kinda failed this one not gonna lie. I fell asleep after applying it... it kind of wore off because I wasn't really careful with it. Overall I like the foundation and it does stay a while and look nice with a primer... but I'm upset I didn't get the "true test" of it... ohhh well its been a crazy day.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
