Feeling Lovely Friday- Feb Faves!

I'm enjoying the alliterations of this title. Lol. I like doing Favorites... so here are the best of Feb.

Beauty

I feel like I don't have much this month cause its been snowing too much to actually wear any make up.  I don't think I've used anything super consistently.

Physician's Formula Nude Wear Concealer-My one big beauty discovery during the middle of February was this guy here... or girl she looks like a girl. 1) The packaging is absolutely ADORABLE! The whole nude wear line has rose gold and bow detailing and its just super cute. I kind of just bought it for that... but it actually works amazingly well. I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to concealers, I kind of want something that will make my undereyes look amazing but also cover up imperfections and this kind of does that. I feel like this works great on its own or with a foundation or bb cream. Loves it!

Naked 3- This is another repeat fave, but it's been my go to this month. Loves it! I've been doing a lot of different looks with it because its so versatile.

Revlon Just Bitten kissable balm stain in Honey- This stuff lasts FOREVER! It's amazing. The color is perfect for anyone. Repeat fave... but thats how it is sometimes. Lol.

Nyx Lip Butter in Cherry Pie- Love the formula of this gloss and the smell and this is just a really lovely red color.

Hair

L'oreal Total Repair 5 Hair Mask- I've mentioned this before, but I've been especially liking it this month cause my hair has gotten a bit dry and tangly. I use this once a week or if I'm doing anything special... which doesn't happen that often but still.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle- I forgot how much I loved this. I've been using this as a regular conditioner, even though its a hair mask... just cause my hair has been so dry. I've mentioned this before too and I love it. It's like 3 dollars and it smells like a pina colada and it works really well.

Smells

Country Chic By Bath and Body Works- This smells like sunshine... It just makes me happy. Especially when I'm stuck inside on a snow day. I throw this on and it's springtime! Love it!

Amber Blush By BBW- I just got this when they had their $8 body mist sale before Vday. It smells so nice and girly. I really like it.

Tv Shows

Bob's Burgers- This is an animated show about a family that owns a burger shop... it's alllllrigggghhhttt (you get that if you watch the show). There's also apparently a big fandom for this, so I'm surprised I haven't watched this sooner. H. Jon Benjamin who voices Archer is the voice of Bob and his kids are just so funny. His youngest daughter Louise is voiced by Kristin Schall who is super funny from The Daily Show, Flight of the Conchords and 30 Rock and the oldest daughter Tina is super funny too... you don't normally see the "gross" parts of a girl going through puberty but Tina shows them amazingly. Other people on the show? Sarah and Laura Silverman and Eugene Mirman. Aziz Ansari, Jenny Slate, Megan Mullally also have recurring guest appearances... so great.

Portlandia- Another show I'm surprised I haven't seen sooner! I've always been meaning to watch it, and I've seen episodes before and they've been funny... but it is just a super great really funny show thats easy to get into. I like it a lot.

30 Rock- I've talked about this... but I have rediscovered my love for 30 Rock and it was a good discovery. It's great. If you haven't watched it yet what the hell dude! Check it out!!!!!

Movies
Bad Milo- This movie is fantastic. It's about a monster living in a guys butt that pops out and attacks anyone that gives him stress... it is amazing. I watched it when I was in a really bad mood and it is so great to watch in a bad mood. It also is directed by a director that knows his bad movies and parodies a lot of bad horror movies in it. I'll have this on a mini review... but you can get how it'll sound haha.

That is pretty much it... not much of a difference, but I've been trying out some new stuff soooo maybe I'll have different stuff in March :)

Byeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
