This is kind of upsetting. I was just starting to get really into season 2 and then BAM finale time!
That is one of the upsetting things about The Carrie Diaries, it isn't long enough. I think a lot of CW's shows are just half seasons... Which isn't always bad but here I think it was a little rushed. Like valentines day just happened and suddenly it's prom and then graduation and I'm like... Wait slow down a bit!
I'm a little upset Sebastian is moving to California just because I was just starting to like him a lot. I hope they still have him on the show every now and again... He's my favorite of Carrie's boyfriends overall... Other than Aiden. I mean it did make sense it wasn't a total break up "I'll never see you again thing" but more of an "I'm California, you're New York this is too different" type of thing so they can't really be together? Does that make sense?
I'm happy with Samantha and Carrie living together, but I hope the rest of the gang is still included if the show gets picked up for a third season. It just seemed like they were going to have Maggie get married and write off her character, and Mouse will be at Harvard without seeing anyone often... And that's sad. I'd like to see Samantha and Larissa interact with Maggie. Or Samantha meeting Dorett or something along those lines. I really liked Maggie as a character, but I kind of feel like her sudden serious relationship/ engagement was a bit out of character and idk I feel like she deserved something else. She was the Samantha before Samantha showed up.., idk it'd make sense.
And they ended this on a happy note just in case it doesn't get picked up for season 3... But that being said it hopefully will get a season 3 and they will hopefully come up with amazing and dramatic stories just like they did this year. I think after season 1's finale I didn't know what else they could come up with, and obviously they did some awesome things.
I give this season a big thumbs up and I'm probably going to watch sex and the city reruns for the time being. Whenever I watch marathons of that show, I always end up loosing track of time and getting sucked in. It's a good show to watch while cleaning or whatever, but I do get lost in the episodes lol.
