The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon- Review

I don't usually watch Jimmy Fallon or Leno or anything... but I do like Jimmy Fallon a lot so of corse I had to watch his first episode on the tonight show. I remember watching his first episode of Late Night and it was super funny. I remember he did a game called "lick it for ten" where he would have people lick things for $10. It was fun. $10 is just enough money to get me to lick something around the studio, but its also probably a gross enough thing for a lot of people to not want to do for a small amount of money. It's brilliant.

Anyway this was a lot different. His guests were Will Smith and U2. He did a little sketch with Will Smith where they did the evolution of hip hop dancing and it was funny. There was a bit at the beginning of the show where he told off his friend saying "You never said I'd be on the Tonight Show. Guess you owe me $100." Then a bunch of celebrities came out including Tina Fey, Sarah Jessica Parker, Joe Namath, Seth Rogen, Lindsay Lohan, Joan Rivers, Lady Gaga, Robert DeNiro, Tracey Jordan, Mariah Carey, Stephen Colbert and many more. I had heard that Lindsay Lohan was going to be on the show... and when Joan Rivers came out I was like "wow Lindsay Lohan looks really good."  Seriously though, Joan Rivers does look wayyyy better than Lindsay Lohan... but Lindsay Lohan looked pretty good. I hope she's clean now.

U2 did a really great job too! They performed on top of the rock with the Rutgers marching band... which was pretty damn cool! And then they sang Ordinary Love acoustic in the studio and that was amazing.

And Will Smith is an amazing guest star too. He's one of those people thats always fun to watch, always a good guest. Really amazing.

Anyway, I definitely think I'll watch this show every once and a while. I like Colbert a lot more and I haven't been watching that a lot lately either.

Sooo yeah its a good show. Check it out. Can't wait for Seth Meyer's show to start too!

Byeeeeeee!

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason. And then a few chapters in we find out who really did it and then we find out why and that thi...
