Dove Advaced Care deodorant first impression

I was sent a sample of the Dove advanced care deodorant from Influenster. If you don't know Influenster is an awesome website that will send you full sized samples of free stuff for testing purposes. I like it a lot, it's great for anyone that likes trying new things... Which I think is everyone. Idk.

Anyhoo they sent me this deodorant- I'm not sure if this is something new I think you can buy it everywhere. I've heard good things about Dove deodorant before and it smells amazing so I'm feeling good about this one.

It claims to moisturize the underarm area after shaving so I tried it there. And I also shaved my legs this morning so I thought "hey why not try it on my legs too" and my legs are feeling AWESOME right now. It also claims to last 24... Wait no 48 hours!!!! I haven't worn it that long yet... Just tried it an hour ago , but I will update that later. My degree deodorant also claims to be 48 hours and I have to say that one pretty much is. I mean it's not like something I need in a deodorant, but it is useful because I don't like going to bed and be stanky and have to reapply it again so that's good.

Those are my first impressions. This was on Sunday 2/2 when I first tried this out... Since I have a super busy day on Thursday I'm going to really put this to the test Thursday and give a fuller review.

Okay so I put this on at like 11am and it is 5:28 right now and there is still no stank! I may be a little stinkier than when I was before, but it's been a fairly busy day and I should smell a lot worse than I do.

I also was wearing a black top before because I wanted to see if it left any white marks or anything on the top and it did not.

I also spritzed some body mist because I usually do that anyway and it isn't like an overpowering scent that doesn't mix well with the body spray, because that can be really bad too.

Anyhoo I have one more class to go... so I will update after I'm done with that class!

Alrighty so during my last class I did notice a little stink.... so I would not call this a 48 hour deodorant by any means. It's a nice smell and if you don't need it to last a long time, it's fine but I think that my degree 48 hour and even secret's 48 hour deodorants are a little bit better. Although I have to say I like the smell of this deodorant a little more than my regular one.

I also do think it's more moisturizing than any other deodorant I've tried, it does feel really nice on my arms after shaving and even when I use it on my legs it's so smooth! I think the packaging even highlights the moisture more than the 48 hour wear.

Overall I do really like this deodorant. If you're looking for a good moisturizing deodorant that doesn't show up on black clothes, this is a great one. If you're athletic or you're doing a bunch of stuff in one day you may need to reapply this a lot more than you would with Degree. I'd definitely buy it again and recommend it to anyone!

Scribbles about TV: Jane The Virgin Review!

This I think is a surprise hit, so of corse I needed to watch it for myself to see! It's been getting a lot of critical buzz because it has been reviewed as "one of the best pilots of the season" and I also have been hearing a few critics saying that they don't think it will last because the word "virgin" is in the title... which is stupid. There is nothing wrong with being a virgin and if a show is good, its good and people should watch it... plus this did bring pretty high ratings for The CW so the critics that said that can suck it! Lol. Overall I really liked this show. One thing thats been bothering me a lot about the new Fall shows is that the characters aren't interesting enough. Especially the female characters. I thought that this showed a lot of really strong female characters that were interesting. This had a pretty big cast with A LOT of stuff going on for a pilot and most of the characters were female. That is a powerful thing to see on TV...

Top 10 Dating Tips/ Suggestions

So I've been in a relationship for about 2 and a half years... but before that I was single... for a very long time. And I was on dating apps for about a year or so before that... so here's what I learned from those apps. If you want more specific relationship advice I have from being in a relationship... that one might be a little harder but I guess I could do a blog on that too? Idk... I'm not an expert but I think I have some good tips.  Find an App That Works For You  I feel like not all apps work for everyone. I started on Bumble- and I like the app. I love the idea of girls taking the first move- but... I HATE making the first move apparently. So I would just match with a bunch of guys... and never really knew what to talk about. Plus I like having A LOT of info in my bio and Bumble just doesn't give enough space for me. I only went out with 1 guy from Bumble I think and it was bad.  So after that I tried Coffee Meets Bagel... which is terrible. Maybe depending on...

Some Pretty Funny Mini Stories That Happened Recently

Okay... so I feel like I have a few stories to tell... a lot of random funny things have happened this past week or so and I just feel like telling them... so yeah. Hope these are interesting. The Penny Pincher  This actually happened a while ago. And some backstory: My mom and I babysit my niece on weekdays and my niece is a toddler- who is pretty easygoing- and I don't really mind watching her on my own...but somedays it gets a little long and it's nice to have 2 people there. Anyway she had to go to the grocery store to get a tomato sauce... and we like a particular kind of tomato sauce... some woman actually took that tomato sauce out of her cart and put the generic version in her cart because "this woman knows tomato sauce and this stuff is the same." It really wasn't the same at all... the type I think had diced tomatoes and that isn't what we needed for the recipe or something like that. The tomatoes were different and it wouldn't have worked wi...
